He entered, dressed in his full kitted out uniform with a blazer that was covered in all sorts of badges. The school’s golden boy for sure. I tried to remove my eyes from him, but for some or other reason I could not do this which resulted in him staring back at me and our eyes connecting for what felt like for ever before I broke the connection by looking away from him. I could not believe that I just allowed myself to be caught staring at a guy who’s name I don’t even know. I wanted to kick myself. In the corner of my eye I saw the guy step aside to allow someone else into the room. I slowly looked back up just in time to catch a bleach blonde straight haired girl stride into the classroom with her big boobs that her white shirt barely held down, a very short skirt that just barely sat above her knee and a super fake tan to match the base on her face. I had no issues with wearing make up. I just felt that there was a limit. She was accompanied by other girls who all seemed to try and match her Barbie like style. She stopped and stood there beside the guy with a very broad smile on her face. Her eyes danced around the class before they landed on me. For some or other reason this total stranger felt the need to show me what was hers by wrapping her arms around the right arm of the golden boy who did not pull away from her at all. That said a lot. I looked away from them and just tried not to think of running right out of this classroom. I was so unbelievably right. The bimbos with all the fake things got the guy. Always. And he was such a jerk for making it seem like he was single. Not that I cared either way. It would be nice if he was just upfront instead of challenging me to race and trying to get to know me rather persistently. What taken guy does that? I took a deep breath and tried to just forget about these types of people. Much to my disappointment, this girl came walking straight up to my desk. Like a dark shadow that loomed over me I was forced to look up. Before me now stood this girl who also felt the need to stare down at me with this really glossy smile on her face. Correction. Really fake glossy smile on her face. Her bright blue eyes looked just as fake They were probably contacts. The guy stood beside her. He seemed unable to even dare look at me and he knew why. He felt guilty for being a two timing player.

“Hi there. I am Candice.” The girl said. Jeez. Her voice was just as fake and annoying as her face. She held her one out to me to shake mine. I really did not want to do this but it was clear to me that she was not going to go anywhere until I had returned the gesture by shaking her hand so I reached out and did exactly that. She even had long fake nails with white tips. Her smile was officially more annoying than what even Carmen’s was. The feeling of wanting to vomit returned so I quickly pulled my hand away from her before she ended up with breakfast all over her. “And this is my boyfriend Dimitri.” Candice added. That was the confirmation I needed. I completely ignored him as he finally chose to look at me and give me a slight glimpse of a smile. I could not stand to look at him right now. “And you are the new girl. Must really suck to be the new girl in your senior year.” Candice said in a snarky tone of voice. I just stared up at her without wasting my breath to respond to her garbage. “Your name is?” Candice asked.

“Savannah.” I replied. Although I knew she really did not care what my name was. This was all just a carefully thought out stunt to ensure that I knew who this guy named Dimitri belonged to and it was clearly her. Not that I cared. It was just that this was all so annoying and super desperate and childish for any girl to do this. I was actually glad to hear the ringing of the bell as the teacher entered the classroom. It was like a beautiful melody to my ears and it forced the Barbie doll and her rough looking G.I Joe man doll to leave. They made themselves comfortable in the one corner which had clearly been reserved for them along with their group of friends that all believed they were better than other people. The song Alarm by Anne-Marie rung in my head. I just kept staring forward with this glare on my face till I felt a tug on my blazer sleeve. I looked beside me to see it was Carmen that was responsible for the tugging. She leaned over to me to whisper in my ear.
