Fortunately I had Dimitri to catch me in his arms, preventing me from falling over completely. Unfortunately I was forced to stare at Candice after finding out she was the one responsible for my sudden push. Accidental push in her books. Candice stood there in this pink low cut glittery number. Her hair full of curls and swirls that literally fell everywhere. The make up plastered on her face, a little too much for my liking. Our eyes met. We glared at each other angrily. Neither of us were very pleased to see each other. The only difference between us, was the fact that I was not deliberately trying to bump into her!

Roman suddenly appeared at her side. Candice almost immediately threw herself around one of his arms. They looked triumphantly happy with each other and more then willing to gloat about their official relationship with each other.

"Enjoying the dance?" Candice snorted. She didn't really want the question answered. Especially by me.

Fortunately I had Dimitri answering the question for me. "We are. And you two?"

"Oh most definitely." Carmen squeezed Roman's arm as she said that. She made me want to throw up all over her and her new squeeze. Thankfully I managed to control the desire to mess their shoes up by focusing on what Dimitri had just done.

He placed his arm around my waste, resting his hand on my hip as he pulled me closer to him. Our sides were touching as my hip was pressed into his. This all felt very new to me so I was completely out of my depth here. Not to mentioned stunned. Was Dimitri staking claim to me simply because Roman was in our presence and he had noticed how Roman had been eyeing me out ever since he and Candice had accidentally bumped into us? I know I had secretly noticed that. Or was there more to this physical and public gesture? I had no clue on how to react, what to think of this or if I should even say anything. It was only because of the fact that I was standing in front of Candice that I acted quickly and pretended like this was something normal to me. If only it were. If only I didn't feel like a fish on dry land, flopping around and gasping for air. If only I was brave enough to admit to everyone including myself that I had not ever really had an actual relationship that didn't involve one sided feelings from me. Although Candice was so desperate to be popular that she practically hired a boyfriend for a year, I still didn't want her to know that specific personal detail about me. I am pretty sure she would use it against me like Lex Luther would use Kryptonite against Superman.

The pace of the music sped up as the DJ changed tunes.

Dj Snake ft Justin Bieber - Let me love you.

It was definitely a crowd favorite with a lot of Bieber believers shrieking from excitement as the song begun to play. The song also seemed to deter Candice and Roman from spending another moment bothering Dimitri and I.
"Guess we will see you two around then." Roman grunted. Candice just gave a disapproving snort at Dimitri and I before she allowed Roman to lead her away. They disappeared into the club hopping crowd of dancing students.

And just like that, I felt like I was free and able to breath again.

To my surprise, Dimitri didn't immediately release me as what I had expected him to the moment Candice and Roman were gone. Instead, Dimitri twirled me around so that I landed in his arms. He caught me as the beat turned once more.

One dance from Drake ft Wizard and Kyla.

Dimitri was definitely full of surprises. He begun to sway his hips from side to side. He held me so close up against him, placing both hands on my hips that I could not stop my hips from moving in conjunction with his. And as the music took over me, just like it had already done to Dimitri, I placed my arms around Dimitri's neck and started to feel a little more comfortable and a lot less nervous about what I was doing and who I was doing it with. Dimitri was absolutely amazing and I was by far the luckiest girl here to be allowed to not only dance with him like this, but to also have his utmost undying attention.
