Song for the chapter: Twisted Games by David Lawrence

~

Flaura Mae Ravenclaw sat on a mossy rock somewhere in the forest of foreign ground in the United States-- well, before it was united.
She fiddled with her wand, practicing the one spell she had to perform just once, just once, and everything will be perfect. Eliminate her 'perfect' sister, Rowena Ravenclaw, then everything she ever wanted would be in her grasp...
A bang resounded somewhere far off, and Flaura Mae got off the rock and walked to the nearby lake, looking around. She was supposed to meet Ophichus, her companion ever since her fourth year, nearby the lake so that she could execute her plan.
"Remember Flaura, only true hatred can kill her, only true hatred." She reminded herself as she saw Ophichus coming into view, dragging a woman with a potato sack over her head and a badly torn, midnight blue dress, struggling in his grasp.
"Flaura, where do I put her?" He said as he came close, and she instructed him to bring her onto the rock. The woman struggled some more, and Flaura, annoyed, performed the body-binding curse-- and failed.
"Bloody hell!" She cried, smacking her wand." There's always something wrong with this wand..." Ophichus did it instead, and he ripped the sack of the woman-- it was Rowena Ravenclaw.
She couldn't speak, so instead, Ophichus did the half body-binding curse.
"You... you monster!" She yelled at her sister, who laughed and motioned for Ophichus to melt back into the shadows.
"You really think I'd just disappear like that? Without claiming what is rightfully mine?" She sneered. Rowena tried reaching her wand in her unripped pocket, but couldn't, so she sat there, helpless.
"What do you mean, 'rightfully yours'?"
Flaura Mae laughed once again." You fool! Godric, the smarts, the authority! It would've been all mine if you hadn't gotten in the way!" She screeched, casting a spell at her sister.
     "Crucio!"
"Aargh!" Rowena screamed, unable to take the pain that had suddenly shot through her body, as if burning her from the inside, as if her skin was crackling and boiling--
"What... what did you do?" She panted, and Flaura Mae, laughed once again.
"The Cruciatus Curse, tortures people. Invented it myself, like it little sis?" She gloated, twirling her wand in her hands. Rowena spat out some blood.
"I made another one." Flaura said, instructing Ophichus to come forward. He gulped, as if he already knew what was going to happen.
"Imperio!" She yelled, pointing her wand at him. He suddenly did whatever she wanted; jump up down, twirl around...
She set Ophichus free of the curse and explained once again to her dumb sister.
"The Imperius Curse," she said." Mind control. They won't know what hit them." She grinned evilly.
"So why am I here, if you are going to do everything but kill me?" Rowen shot, getting cocky. She was going to escape, she knew it. She just didn't know how...
Flaura let out a cackle." Silly little Weena, I'm not that stupid." She started pacing around her, getting closer before grabbing her by the chin." Though you wouldn't know."
She undid the curse Ophichus did-- her spells were going good, all she had to do was one more and she wouldn't have to perform another spell in a long time.
"Godric won't know you're gone-- none of them will, even if I perform the Killing Curse." Rowena, too shocked to move, watched, horrified as her sister started changing form to look like-- herself.
"Flaura... what kind of twisted game is this?" She silently whispered, shocked at the lengths her sister would go to destroy her.
"There's no avoiding this one, Ro." She continued, still in Rowena's form." Your little 'protego' spell isn't powerful enough."
Rowena had nowhere to go--she was cornered onto the rock. She cowered in fear as Flaura pointed her wand at her heart.
     "Goodbye, sister."
She raised her wand high, smiled wickedly one last time at her sister, and shouted the spell." Avada Kedavra!"
The green light shot somehow a little off from her wand and hit Rowena square in the chest. She had her eyes opened wide, clutching her chest before she fell against the rock and onto the mossy floor of the dark, dank forest.
The last thing she saw was Ophichus grabbing Flaura by the waist and Apparating away.
