Song for the chapter: Try by Colbie Callait

     "Professor Forfax!"
It was nearing to be the last dinnertime for the local Hogsmeade school before the summer that very little children in Britain are able to go to, thus halting the magical academic progress of the country.
However, that didn't encourage to school to expand. They were happy educating students that just naturally came.
Just like Rowena Ravenclaw and her squib-suspected sister, Flaura Mae Ravenclaw, who was trying to find her Transfiguration teacher.
"Professor Forfax." She said again, finally catching the attention of her poorly-dressed teacher. Raziel Forfax turned to see one of his-- surprisingly-- top students alongside one of his worst students-- Flaura Mae and Ophichus.
"Ah! Flaura Mae, a pleasure again to see you and Ophichus. What do you need from me?" He said, stuffing his parchments back into his small brown bag.
"I'd just like to make an appointment with you for tomorrow night." She said in her sweetest voice and batting her eyelashes at her easily-persuadable teacher. He furrowed his eyebrows.
"Tomorrow? It's the weekend tomorrow."
"Exactly! There won't be classes, and I would like to enquire about the extent of Transfiguration."
He smiled, apparently pleased that the known 'squib' had shown interest and talent in magic, before turning to the shabby boy next to her.
"And what about you, Ophichus." He asked, spiting the boy.
"Nothing." He whimpered, and silently begged Flaura Mae to leave. After smiling once again at her favourite teacher, she finally did leave, Ophichus in her wake.

Flaura Mae sat down at the desk opposite her professor, trying to contain her excitement that would help her progress in the plan she mentally constructed to make people realise she was the better--and possibly the best--Ravenclaw.
"Flaura Mae Ravenclaw, I think I found a subject you and your younger sister are equally good at-- for your grade of course." Raziel Forfax said, smiling at his student. "And I must say, your grades have improved exceptionally."
Flaura's pale face became a light pink and she mirrored Professor Forfax's smile. "Why, thank you, Professor Forfax. However, after the human Transfiguration lesson we did, I couldn't help but feel quite curious, and I was hoping you could answer a few of my questions."
"Anything for my best student's improvement in my specialty."
She smiled, and continued on." Well, how long could you stay as the person you transfigurate yourself into?"
The professor sat up straight, interested in the question she posed." Very interesting, Ms Ravenclaw. Well, the answer to your question will be better answered in the books in my office, as you can see, but I have a mere satisfactory answer; it depends on your strength and skill in Transfiguration, the stronger and the more you practice, the longer."
"And will there be any side effects?" She asked, hoping her teacher would not suspect anything. And thankfully, he didn't.
"That I do not know. But since it's the summer, I recommend a few books to continue and further your inspiring story."
With a flick of his short wand, a few books fly from his shelves and land gently on his desk, blocking his view of Flaura Mae.
Satisfied, she got up and took the books." Thank you, Professor Forfax."
"Anytime, Ms Ravenclaw."

The summer had passed by quickly, and an eventful summer it was. Rowena Ravenclaw had taken a month of staying with her friend, Helga Hufflepuff the Kind, at her Welsh family home before returning to a loving grandmother Flaura Mae wished she had.
Godric Gryffindor, Rowena's special friend, had visited a couple of times and immediately won the hearts of the entire Ravenclaw household. "I like that boy." Fredrick Ravenclaw said to his youngest daughter." He's a good guy to get with."
Flaura Mae would usually be mad at such a comment, but she wasn't, much to Rowena's surprise and happiness. She was too busy working on her Transfiguration skills-- she already could cast the spell without speaking the words, which made it easier for her to practice.
Even at school, her Transfiguration skills were rumoured about, saying that it wasn't true, she cast a spell on herself because she was such an embarrassment.
But she no longer cared about anyone anymore-- everyone except Ophichus and Godric, of course-- because all she cared about was proving herself worthy.
Years flew, and she had graduated with good scores. Her family finally congratulated her, but she didn't care. Her feelings were tampered with as she only thought of pursuing her plans with Ophichus, and she disappeared off the face of the earth without a trace, just as Rowena began her last year.
