"We're going to Philippines!" Keyden cheered and faced his Kuya Luise, "Kuya, is the Philippines cold as here?"

"No, Keyden. Philippines is one of tropical country." Luise told.

I inhaled sharply and went to my room to pack all my things that I haven't yet packed. Our scheduled flight was tonight and we still have the time to enjoy being here. Or at least have the last time here in New York. I mean, it doesn't mean that we won't be back again. It was only a month. After the event, we can go back here.

I turned my head when the door opened. It was Keyden running towards me with his shark stuffed toy. He was laughing hard while catching his breath when he clung his arms around my neck and buried his face on my shoulder.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Kuya Luise knew that I was the one who had eaten his donut in the refrigerator and he was kinda scary so I ran here." he said laughingly.

I looked at the door and saw my brother who scratching the back of his head with a mocking smile. Tumayo ako buhat-buhat si Keyden. Sa totoo niyan ako ang bumuhat kay Keyden noon sinabi niya na may gusto siyang kunin sa ref.

When he knew my plan, he shook his body as if he wanted to get free of my grip. I laughed and signaled Luise to act as if he'll eat Keyden.

"You monster donut eater, you have eaten my precious donut, as exchange, I will eat your soul instead. You were like much delicious than my donut." Luise said with a bit horror on his voice.

"No, Mr. Soul eater! Let me explain myself." Keyden playfully said but his hold on my arms get tighter. "I was hungry that time and Mommy didn't buy me an ice cream and I saw your donut, I thought it was belong with no one, I just ate it." he explained and I laughed.

"Why did you think that it was belong with no one if I had written my name on its container?" Luise asked as if he was a detective.

"I did not see it, Mr. Soul eater. Please don't eat me. I was a cute when I was a kid and now I'm gwapo so, don't waste my genes."

I was shocked with a bit amusement on what my son had told to Luise. Pati si Luise ay nabigla at parang gustong matawa dahil sa sinabi ni Keyden. I looked at my son who proudly lifted up his chin and smiled widely to face Luise.

"Who have you learned that to?" I asked.

Tumingin ang anak ko saakin at hinawakan ang magkabilang pisngi ko.

"Just kuya Luise. He's always telling me that he's so gwapo and he has this charisma. He said I was cute because I was a kid. But I think I already grew up. I am big now, so I will call myself a gwapo." he said that made me laugh a bit.

My child is so cute. I pinched his nose and ruffled his hair. It was perfectly fit his hair to him. Who ever his parents are, they maybe have this kind of hair. Keyden has a black curly hair, it made me want to ruffle his hair everytime he makes a cute things like this.

"You done packing your things?" I asked to my brother.

He nodded, "Yeah,"

"You were that excited, huh?"

Matapos kong iempake ang mga gamit namin ay kinuha ko na 'yung jar kung saan nakalagay ang abo ng aking ina. My plan is to entomb my mother's ashes beside my father grave. It was my plan long time ago but I have lack of strength for doing that thing before. Even now, I feel weak everytime I'm thinking about the Philippines. Going back to the land that I had hurt the most is making my heart throb with ache.

One month is not bad, though. I will just make a move not to see Reagan when I am there. It's not hard, we work in different company so I don't need to worry all the time. May posibilidad na magkita kami, malaking posibilidad kaya dapat kong lakasan ang loob ko. I won't break down when I see him.
