Chapter 10: Lost Love

After Steven and I talked I went back to my trailer and fell asleep. I didn't remember even going back to my trailer but I guess so. I then heard a knock on the door. It woke me up and I checked my phone 10:00 P.M. I fell back in my bed not willing to go open the door but I did. I got up put on my ducky slippers and opened the door. MATT SMITH WAS AT MY DOOR STEP!!! I didn't know what to say so my instinct kicked in, "Hi Mr. Smith! Please come in, take a seat! Can I take your jacket?" He came in still in costume and smiled at me! He then said, "Hi call me Matt please! Jessica is it not?"

I stared into his deep green eyes thinking of what to say, "Yes but call me Jess, I would much appreciate it!" I gestured him to sit down on the couch while I made some tea. I then started a conversation, "Matt. That's not what I'm use to saying everyday! I think you are an amazing Actor!" We both chuckled and I pored some tea and handed it to Matt he then said, "Thank you very much Jess! I'm guessing you are too taking that you were chosen by the best!"

I pored some tea for me and sat down at the table in front of me, "Thank you! I tried my best! You look better in a bow tie in real life than you did on the big screen! Not to say you don't look goo on the big screen though! You look great!" I sipped some of my tea while I couldn't really concentrate with is this wooshy hair! He then said, "Thank you! Bow ties are cool. So enough talk about me! Talk about yourself!" I just wanted to tell him I had a horse so bad but I had to wait for the right moment, "What about me? There is a lot to talk about if it is about me!" "Well what are your hobbies? What do you do on your free time?"

I think this was the moment to talk about it! "Well my free time and work time are pretty much the same! Free time is when I go get my horse and ride him to a canyon where I think about my life. In fact that is where I was when Steven called me and said I got the part! But my work life is working with other horses! Mostly stallions but there are some foals I work with also!" I started smiling after telling him!

He took a sip of tea nodding, "Cool! Very Cool! I would love to see your horse! I hope there can be more horses in this season you know?!" I nodded and said, "Yes that would be very cool! I wouldn't have to learn anything since I already know how to ride! I could ask them if I could help you!" I was really just kidding because I highly doubt they would say yes Matt then said, "It never hurts to ask!" I laughed an then asked, "What do you do on your free time?"

He looked away with a sad look like I had brought up something I wasn't supposed to and to help I got up and said quickly, "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to bring it up." I was 5'10" and he was 5'11" so I was pretty much looking him straight in the eye when he stood up. "It's okay it's not you. I've got go." As started to walk out the door I stopped him saying, "Can I have your number? Will I be able to soon meet Karen and Arthur?"

He turned around and answered, "Here can I have your phone so I can put it in?" I handed him my phone I unlocked it before I handed it to him then he said, "Tomorrow I will introduce you to Karen and Arthur." I smiled and then he smiled he turned back and walked out I said night but the door was closed by the time I had said it. I was so tired I just didn't want to show it in front of Matt but I flung my ducky slippers off and jumped into bed like there was no tomorrow!
