Chapter 21: My Long Lost Birthday

I was just getting dressed when I heard the door knock. I was naked and I thought "what are the odds." I then yelled, "GIVE ME JUST A MOMENT!" I finished putting on my pants and opened the door. It was Steven holding flowers and said, "Happy Birthday Jess!"

I then said, "Awwww thank you so much! Please come in!"

I hugged him and thanked him again. He looked up at me because he was sitting down and said, "Come to the cafe after filming."

I nodded and said, "Ok why?"

He just shrugged his shoulders and said, "I wanted to have a word with you but I can't right now."

He got up and left. I got really scared because I was afraid I was going to loose my job. I just dropped it and went back to brushing my hair and teeth.

It's 6:00 P.M. And we are still filming. We usually get done around 7:00.

"And Action!" Yelled the director. I totally forgot it was March 30th! My Birthday!

I had to act like there was another creature in my body. I guess the creature REALLY likes the doctor. So I went up to him just like I was suppose to and said, "So we are all alone in a blue box." I ran my fingers up his chest and unbuttoned his top button.

He ran to the other side of the Tardis, buttoned up his shirt and said, "Okay? Well how about-

He got cut off by me kind of chuckling then I said, "I'm sorry I can't do it!" I put both hands on the Tardis buttons and started to wiggle them. Everyone started to laugh and we had to do the scene over again.

Matt walked over to me again and we did it again.

I said, "So we are all alone I a blue box." I ran my fingers up his chest then unbuttoned his top button them he ran the other side while buttoning up the top button.

Then I walked over to him and he said, "Okay? Well how about you get out of her body!"

I then backed off. My rib was bothering me and I felt a sharp pain in my back then everything went blank. I couldn't see anything but I could hear everything.

The director then said, "What's wrong? Say your next line."

I shook my head and fell down on the ground. I couldn't speak. I pointed to my back and ribs hoping they would understand then I heard Matt come over to me and say, "What wrong?"

He moved my hair back. I was still breathing but I was hot. I only saw black. This was not the birthday I imagined.

They stuck a thermometer in my mouth. I didn't deny it because I knew it was necessary. Then they said, "98.6. She has a good temperature?" I got up and tried to say, "Back." I cleared my throat and said, "My back. I can't see? What's going on?" I heard Matt yell at someone but I couldn't make out what he was saying then I felt I needle. And that's all I remember.

I suddenly woke up. Matt was there holding my hand. I said, "What happened?" I could see everything. I was wide awake and sitting up. He then said, "You got a temporary paralyzation. That's why you couldn't see."

I looked at him confused and said, "Why were you yelling before I 'Fell asleep'?" He looked at me with his wide green eyes and said, "They put a shot in you and I didn't know what it was." We kind of chuckled then I payed back in my bed at my trailer. I got up suddenly and said, "What time is it?" He looked at his watch and said, "9 o'clock why?" I widened my eyes then jumped out of bed. I went to my couch and while I put my green converse on I said, "Uggg! I was suppose to meet Steven in the cafe." I brushed my hair back with my hand in anger. I ran out the door then ran to cafe. Matt was following me and said, "You need rest now." He caught up with me and grabbed my arm. We slowed down then he was gasping for air.

I laughed at him and said, "You call that a workout?"

I wasn't even breathing hard. He then said, "Steven knows what happened with you."

I kind of cut him off and said, "Well then let's go to his trailer shall we?" I smiled then ran to his trailer.

When I got there I knocked on his door. He answered the door and said, "Please come in!" Then Matt yelled, "Wait for me." He ran in and couldn't catch his breath.

I looked at him and said, "You pathetic! I mean look at you." Then Steven turned to me and said, "What brings you here?"

I then said, "You said you wanted to see me after filming. I'm sorry."

He looked at me and said, "There's nothing to be sorry about! I just wanted you to come to the cafe so we could celebrate your 25th birthday!"

I looked relieved and kind of chuckled and said, "Oh! I thought I was going to loose my job!" Everyone started to laugh.
