You paced around the room, waiting for your friend to pick you up for a night of partying. You finally heard the doorbell ring, so you ran to the door and threw it open. On the other side was your best friend, the one you've known since you were young.

"Hey, (Y/N)!" your friend shouted excitedly. "Ready to go?" they asked.

"Sure! C'mon, you're in my way!" you giggled, pushing past them and running into the car. They chuckled and got in the driver's seat, starting the car and driving to the club.

You reached a red light after a bit, and you sighed, waiting impatiently and watching the surge of cars passing through. There was a honk behind you, but the light was still red, so your friend ignored it. The person honked again, louder.

"Jeez, leave us alone, dude!" they grumbled, tapping their fingers on the wheel. At that moment, the car roared forward, crashing into your bumper and pushing you out onto the open road. Obviously, you didn't last long when there was so much traffic. A red SUV hit your side, and a black Mercedes hit your front.

You felt your bones crunch, your spine snap, and everything became black with a jolt of pain.

Waking up to a bright light, you groaned under your breath.

"Hello, child," someone said quietly. You forced your eyes open, rubbing them from the harsh light directly above you. It was softened, and you were able to open them fully.

Above you was a man in a white robe, sandals, and wings. You gaped at the sight, and the man laughed. His laugh was light and airy. His wings were pure white, twitching and flapping slightly.

"I see you've noticed the wings," he chuckled. His voice was joyful, yet quiet.

"Yeah. Where am I?" you asked, looking around. You expected to be scared, but honestly, you felt calm. Peaceful.

"This will be a shock, but I promise, this is the truth," he sighed, sitting down on a chair that seemingly appeared right beside your bed. "You're in Heaven, (Y/N)."

"I... what? No, that can't be right," you laughed, thinking it was a joke, but the serious look on the man's face made you think twice. "So... what, you're an angel?"

"Exactly. My name is Lightiplier, and it's why I have the wings," he answered, smiling at you gladly. "I'm glad you're taking this so well."

"Oh, I'm not so sure about that," you muttered, looking around the room for the first time. There wasn't much, just a plain, white hospital bed, a drawer, and a cupboard. It looked like Earth... then again, everything was a bit too quiet.

"I know this might be a shock to you, but I promise, you'll get used to it," he said.

"What about my friend? She was in the car with me," you told him. Light shook his head.

"She's in the hospital, making a full recovery," he notified.

"So she's alive," you stated, looking down.

"Indeed. She doesn't yet know that you're...." He trailed off, and shook his head. "How about I give you a tour?"

"I don't know... I'm scared, Light," you admitted, standing up.

"That's perfectly normal. Being in a new environment can be very jolting. I'm sure I can make you comfortable, however," he offered, putting his hand out for you to take. You slowly took it, and he led you out of the room. You were hit by a warm, white light, and once it dissipated, what you saw made your mouth drop in awe.

You've never felt more alive.
