Niall was still holding my hand, his palm placed firmly above my knuckles. It wasn't a tight grip, and it wasn't too soft either, but he was holding it and wasn't letting go. I looked at the woman, who took the pen behind her ear, marked two checks on her clipboard and looked up at us.

She smiled politely, and holds out her hand for me to shake. This time, Niall let go off my hand, and I proceed to shake her hand.

"Niall," She looks at him, "Is this the lovely girl you've been talking about?"

He nodded, and she looks at me.

"Hi," she spoke, "I'm Miss Nancy, but you can call me Silvia."

"Hi, I'm Casey." I said.

"Since this is your first day, there's really nothing you could do..now .. uh-h," She turns around and scopes the area for a vacant job for both us to do.

"Aha!" She turns around, and faces us, "My daughter is in control room near the podium, she'll tell you what to do."

"Okay." Niall agreed, as she walked past us and back to the business she was doing.

I followed Niall to the podium across several great numerous stands, whether they were going to be food stands or game stands, I was excited. We ambled up the stairs, as we reached the back room of the podium. There stood countless computer screens, wires, and devices that I didn't even know existed. A tall skinny girl stood along, with long wavy dark brown hair, and glasses. She looked familiar, until she turned around and I definitely knew who she was. It was Saige.

She recognizes, and runs after me with a great smile. She surges in for a long hug, and finally lets go. She seems eager to see me, her facial expressions easily shows it.

"Casey!" She beamed, "Long time no see!"

Niall gives a puzzled look, "You guys know each other?"

"She's Liam's cousin." I explained.

"I was gonna tell you," She says to Niall, "But I didn't know you knew Liam, he isn't that popular." She was joking obviously. That was Saige for you, who teases Liam constantly whether he was around or not.

Then, she stops and gazes at the both of us. She pushes her glasses by the bridge of her finger, and smirks at us.

"Nice to bring your girlfriend here to help you, Niall." She smiles.

Fuck. Okay, have two theories. One, she actually thinks we're dating. Two, she's getting back at me for assuming Niall and I are dating because the first time I met her, I thought she was dating Liam.

Slowly, a rosy scarlet color spreads over my cheeks, making my face take on an almost childlike appearance. I could feel my cheeks getting hotter and hotter, and wondered if Niall was as abashed as I was. I looked at Niall, whose face flushed radish red staring down at his feet, hoping no one would notice.

"O-Oh no, we're not dating.." He finally looks up, "I have a girlfriend.."

"I have a girlfriend." That sent chills down my spine.

Her eyes slit wide open, like a deer caught in the headlines. She covers her mouth with both of her hands, and wallowed in the depths of wanting remission.

"O-Oh my god, I'm so sorry," She apologizes, "I just assumed."

Niall shakes his head, and the scarlet color of his cheeks slowly fade. "It's okay." He cracks open a small smile. I decide to change the subject.
