9:58PM

I was sitting on computer chair, tapping the end of my wooden pencil against the edge of my laptop. I looked up to see a bright radiant screen gawking at me, I turned down the brightness of the screen. I typed the last finishing sentences on Microsoft Word and printed out my essay. It was 3 pages long and it had enough words to fill up half of a novel.

This would be the first time I would be doing my homework early, since I would usually do it around midnight whenever it was time to sleep. God, I'm such a lazy ass.

I stood up from my chair, and stared out the window. My neighborhood was quiet and serene, I never saw anyone come out of there house at night, I would only see people in the morning when I go and come back from school. I stared down the driveway, to see Louis not back yet.

I didn't know where he was or where he went, we usually don't tell each other our plans and such. My train of thought has been disturbed, when I heard my phone ring from the bottom of my blanket on my bed. I turned around and scurried the big wide-ranged overall for my phone. When I finally found it, I looked at the screen to see Saige calling me. I answer her call, to hear her immediately scream on the phone.

"Bitch." She welped.

I sat down on side of my bed knowing that this would already be a long conversation.

"Well, hey to you too."

"Don't just greet me," Saige answered, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Tell you what?"

"You liking Niall, dumbass." She raised her voice. I could tell she's rolling her eyes right now from 2 miles away.

"How did you know?"

She paused for a moment. "Rachel told me everything when she bumped into me in the parking lot this afternoon."

I was about to respond, but she continued. "Must be really nice having to know that you have a crush on someone coming from Rachel, not from you, but from Rachel.

"Sorry." I apologized. She was right, I should have told her earlier, and besides I knew Rachel was going to tell someone anyway.

"So, how did you start liking him?"

"I don't know, it just happened." I responded flatly. I actually didn't know how to answer that question without sounding like a complete dumbass and a hopeless romantic who craves long and tight hugs.

"I knew you liked him."

"Apparently everyone did."

"So are you gonna tell you know who?"

Now, it was my turn to roll my eyes. "She has a name."

"Sorry, if I said her name, I bet you would have punched the wall right about now."

"I don't hate her."

She laughed, "Aha, I've heard that one before."

"I'm serious!"

She laughed again, "Listen, I gotta go, Liam's calling me."

We both said goodbye, and I hanged up. I threw my phone gently across the bed and I laid down beside it. I stared at the dull white ceiling above me, and I placed my hair gently to the left side of my neck. I heard something roll in from the driveway outside. I stood up and I stared out the window to see Louis and Hayley get out of Louis's car. What's Hayley doing here?
