Astrid was sitting in class, bored. She had finished her work, and was playing a little game on her phone.

Astrid's classmate, Quinn (who was sitting next to Astrid), was talking to her friend.

Astrid heard her name. The girls laughed.

"Hm? I heard my name," Astrid said, sass in her voice. "Sorry, I heard my name. Did you need something?"

Quinn shrieked, and almost fell out of her chair.

What? Astrid certainly wasn't that scary!

"The third, the light that shines bright
Competitive, fierce, bushy brown hair
Light in her dark brown eyes
The romantic, blindingly bright, becoming whatever she needs at any time..."

The thought came to Astrid suddenly, surprising her.

Astrid looked down at her hands, as there was a light coming from that direction. It was her hands. Astrid's hands were glowing.

What?

How?

Cool!

Astrid blinked, and the light was gone. Quinn spotted closer to her friend, sending glares at Astrid.

Astrid, rolled her eyes, and looked at her phone, the screen dark. What had happened to her?

Astrid could see a reflection in her dark phone screen, but it wasn't hers.

Looking back at Astrid was a warrior with dark, busy hair that had been tamed into a messy braid. The warrior had dark brown, fierce eyes, that, despite how dark her eyes were, held a blinding light. It was an unstoppable light. The warrior had dark, scuffed up skin.

The warrior looked like a little like Astrid, and it was weird.
