What?
Who?
Ann was genuinely confused. Who was that girl? She was weird. Why did she mean, 'Ann was originally going to be like her'?
"Well then." Ann said. "I think we just met a real life psycho."
"She seemed truthful, though." Astrid said, looking bewildered.
"I don't see how I could have originally been someone else." Ann said, glancing at the door. "She looked weird, too. Why was her skin green?"
"I dunno," Jack said with a shrug. "I kinda like her. She's funny!"
"Maybe she was an actual alien!" Emily mused.
"Hm. Maybe there is more than three worlds." Sophia said, laughing quietly. Ann was still confused. She let out an annoyed sigh, shaking her head.
"I'm just not even going to try and understand what happened." Ann said, throwing away the paper container away. "Let's get out of here."
As the six walked down the more tourist-y streets, screams could be heard, along with pounding.
"What the h**l is that?" Ann asked, her fingers sparking.
"It's starting already!" Sophia said in mild surprise. "There are... Monsters, I suppose. I don't know where they are supposed to come from, but they're apart of the prophecy we're a part of. And, we have to fight them."
"Are the monsters only in this world?" Emily asked, tilting her head.
"How are we going to do this?" Kyle asked, slightly nervous. "We haven't really practiced with our powers!"
"I don't think we really have time to consider that." Astrid said. Kyle grasped her hand, and Astrid's face went red.
Ann groaned. "Why are we standing here, talking?!? There's people who need our help!" Ann began to run towards the noise. Jack ran after her, though it was backwards. Jack gave a shrug to the other four, before turning around to run properly. Sophia rose a few feet from off the ground. She began to fly after them.
"What better situation to train with?" Emily said optimistically, and skipping with oddly high leaps in the air.
Kyle let out a shaky breath, and lifted off of the ground slowly, pulling Astrid up with him. "L-let's do this!"
And, the six were off, ready to fight their first villain.
