Okay, sure, it may seem a bit too early for Thanksgiving stuff, but it's way too early for Christmas, so... Here we are.

"I'm hungry," Jack moaned, resting his chin on Ann's shoulder.
"We all are," Ann growled, shrugging Jack off, "deal with it. I'm not done cooking yet."
Jack threw his head back, sighing loudly. He sat at the table next to Kyle and Astrid.
"Thanks again for hosting Thanksgiving at your place, Sophia!" Astrid said brightly. "It's weird but mature-feeling, spending the later part of Thanksgiving away from adults."
"It's no problem," Sophia said with a little smirk. "Although, I'm technically an adult. It is how I have my own place."
"It's different!" Astrid said defensively, laughing.
"Nobody go in the kitchen!" Ann yelled. "If you do, there will be no Thanksgiving dinner!"
"How dare you!" Kyle yelled.
"I need it quiet so I can concentrate!" Ann responded.
Emily skipped to the dining room table, and sat down. "Loud!" She giggled.
A little bit later, Ann emerged, carrying a couple plates that she sat down in front of people. After a couple more trip, everything had been delivered, and Ann had sat down in between Jack and Astrid (Ann had made Jack move).
"Anything you all are grateful for?" Sophia asked, breaking through the sound of silverware clinking on glass.
"I'm happy everyone's here, eating, healthy, and happy!" Astrid smiled.
"No monsters!" Kyle said in a muffled voice (his mouth was filled with turkey and bread).
"Freedom!" Emily chirped triumphantly.
"I'm grateful for peace." Sophia said, dabbing the edge of her mouth with a napkin.
"Well," Jack started with a cheeky grin, "I'm grateful for friends and fold and having Ann here,"- Jack tried to kiss Ann, but she dodged, and his Lil's grazed her cheek- "and I really like flying. Is there anything you're grateful for, Annie, dear?"
"Aspirin." Ann glowered, looking down at her plate. Jack smiled smuggle, and draped his arm around Ann's shoulders. She didn't push him away.
Astrid cooed at the two, and gave Kyle a kiss.
Emily giggled, and seemed to be bursting with glee.
Sophia looked at you, although the others had no idea what she was looking at, and winked.
"Happy Thanksgiving." Sophia said, turning back to her friends.
"And Merry Christmas!" Jack shouted happily.
