Emily sat on the couch, summoning the different flowers in the living room towards her.
Emily's suitcase and aunt sat next to her on the couch.
And the two waited. Waited for yet another person that would direct Emily on what to do. And Emily would be obedient. She would be patient, she would act kind. And she would wait.
She would wait.
A chime ran throughout the house. It was the expected chime.
Emily jumped up, and grabbed her suitcase. She whisked open the door, and was met with a young girl. The young girl was a couple years younger than Emily.
Emily stared at the girl, confused. The girl's form twisted around, and within a couple of seconds, a young woman was standing in front of Emily, a small smile on her face.
The young woman held out a hand. "Hello, Emily. I'm Sophia. You have powers, like five others. That includes myself. The other four are waiting in the car. We will be going somewhere to perfect these powers. Are you ready?"
Emily gave a big smile, and a nod. She grabbed her suitcase and skipped to the car.
Emily daintily sat in the front seat, by the driver's chair. The two teens behind her were bickering.
"No! Puns are amazing!" Said the pale boy.
"They really aren't, though." The girl replied, her stormy grey eyes flashing.
"They are the wittiest form of humor! They require a good amount of brain power."
"For you, maybe."
"Czesc!" Emily interjected. "I'm Emily! Nice to meet you all!"
"Hello!" Said a girl with frizzy brown hair in the very back. "I'm Astrid."
"Im Kyle." Said the boy with sea blue eyes, next to Astrid.
"I'm Jack!" Said the pale boy, with a wink and finger guns.
"Ann." Said the girl with the stormy grey eyes. She didn't look at Emily. Instead, she stared out the window.
"Sorry," Jack said with a glance at Ann. "Annie, she- well, she's standoffish."
"Don't want what your offering." Astrid sang instantly, as if on reflex.
"Awfully sad it had to be this way." Kyle sang back.
"So tell my people that when they're ready, that im ready, and I'm standing by the TV with my beanie low." Ann sang quickly, seemingly surprising Jack.
"Oh, I'll be over Here. O-oh here." Jack sang with a big, triumphant smirk directed towards Ann.
Ann just shook her head with remorse.
Sophia slipped into the seat next to Emily, starting up the car. "Sorry, had to talk to Emily's aunt."
And the group of six sped into the night, going to a place unknown to the other five.
