The car pulled up to a building. It was a familiar building.
Ann looked at the building in disbelief and disgust.
It was her school.
Now, hold on. Ann certainly liked to read and write and stuff, that wasn't the problem with school.
It was the people.
Ann was a firm believer that most of the people in her school were total idiots. They were slow, distracting, and loud. There was only a small percentage of people Ann could tolerate (a/n see people use the word 'percentage'!). So, the sight of her school wasn't exactly welcome.
"This," Sophia said, sweeping her hand out in front of her. "This is the bridge between two worlds. Well, the easiest one for us to access at the moment, anyway."
A figure could be seen at the front office, hidden by the shadows. The group of six stepped closer to him. It was Mr. Mills, Ann's tech teacher.
Mr. Mills opened the doors to the front office, letting the group in.
Sophia led the teens into a storage closet. Inside, was a full-length mirror.
"Step through the mirror!" Sophia said, not elaborating.
No one was telling forward. They seemed scared and disbelieving.
"Oh, screw it!" Ann said with a huff. She stepped forward, in front if the mirror. Jack was trailing after her.
"Please be careful!" Jack said. "Or let me go first."
Ann shooed the boy away, and placed her hand on the mirror. Blue sparks crackled in the air around and hand.
Ann continuedbto press, determined to get through the mirror. Sophia placed a finger on the corner of the mirror, and Ann's hand slipped through. Ann fell, the mirror's support disappearing. She shrieked as she fell through, suddenly falling through the air.
