The pounding of Ann's feet on the pavement was drowned out by the people's screams. A crowd of people ran forward, pushing Ann back.

"Someone help!" Came Ann's frustrated yells. "I can't get through the crowd!"

Ann looked up to see the other five in the air. Emily was falling, though. What the h**l? Sophia swooped down, and held out a hand. Ann took it, and rose into the air. As the group drew nearer, a large figure could be seen. It was the supposed monster. It had grey skin that looked rough, like it couldn't be scratched. The monster looked about as big as a two-story building, but it towered over the little shops that were all over this street. Sophia neared the ground, and let go of Ann. Ann dropped to her feet, and stared up at the monster. The other five hovered near Ann. Well, Emily was standing on the ground.

"It's damaging the sklepy!" Emily said.

"Yeah, no duh, it's destroying stuff!" Ann growled. "It needs to be, like, boxed in or something."

Jack smirked, and rose into the air. "I'm on it, my queen."

Ann just scoffed, and watched as Jack shot ice around the monster.

"It won't stay still long enough!" Jack yelled out, dodging the monsters arm as it tried to hit Jack out of the air. "But there's, like, a red spot on the top of its head!"

"Hm, it appears I was right about Jack's power." Sophia hummed. Jack flew down to the ground as Ann began to talk.

"Is that really important right now?" Ann grumbled, ready to take lead since no one else was going to. "I'll distract that thing. Kyle you use water or whatever to push the thing around to stay in place. Sophia, create borders of fire around the thing so that it has no where to hide. Jack, use sharp ice or something to hurt the thing. Cut it or something to slow it down. Astrid. You fly me up to that thing's head. Drop me off on the head, and I'll do something there."

"Look who's taking charge." Jack said, wiggling his eyebrows. "That's why I call you the queen." Ann waved him away, and began to try and summon the sparks. She groaned, and failed. Ann began to ran around the monster's feet, yelling up at it.

"Hey, you," Ann yelled up, attracting the monster's attention. "Yeah, you! Get out of here, you ugly brute." The monster looked away from the teen, and instead fixed its attention on Jack, who flew around the monster, throwing sharp icicles (that Jack could summon quite easily).

Kyle flew at a distance, hesitant on his directions. Jack was grazed by the monster's hand, and almost fell out of the air. Luckily, he was able to pull back up, and kept attacking the monster at a greater distance.

"The water!" Ann yelled at Kyle from down on thethe ground. Kyle could still feel the fury in her words, though. "Use the water!"

Ann was furious. The monster was paying no attention to her. And, instead, it was attacking Jack, running down the street as Jack tried to fly away. And what did Kyle do? He floated there, watching! Ann ran after the monster, the other four following, and her hands sparked. Ann stopped, and focused on what she was feeling. She clinched her fists and closed her eyes. And the feeling washed over here after a couple moments. It was pure adrenaline. Anger. Power. Ann opened her eyes, and unbeknownst to her, her eyes were a bright, electric blue.

"Astrid, now!" Ann called out. Astrid swooped down, and carried Ann up, struggling slightly. "Just a bit more." Ann said, and slipped out of Astrid's grip. She landed on the monster's head, and crouched down. "The water, Kyle, the water!"

Kyle blinked, and took a deep, nervous breath. He looked at Astrid, who gave him a nod, and brought his hands up, like he had at the park. Water flew towards him, and it was a decent amount. Kyle directed the water to where Ann was crouched, and let it drop down.

Ann quickly put her sparking hands up, letting the electricity run through the water. She winced as she was shocked, the water drenching her as it ran down the monster. The monster let out a roar, and charged at Kyle. Ann shrieked, and attempted to hold onto the monster's head. Kyle stopped, like a deer in the headlights. Astrid came to his rescue. She bounded in front, and began to glow. A bright, blinding light had engulfed Astrid, and the monster stopped, not able to see. Ann squinted against the light, her eyes burning. An icicle flew past her, and narrowly missed the red spot on the monster's head. Ann looked behind her to see a grinning Jack. Another sharp icicle flew past her, and hit the red spot this time. A crack appeared, like one on a broken bowl. The crack ran down the monster's head, and it was wide enough for Ann's head to fit inside. The monster began to lurch forward, almost throwing Ann off. She quickly bragged the edge of the crack, holding on for dear life. Plants quickly shot up from the stands at the different shops. Ann looked over to see Emily laughing in triumph and directing the plants forward. The plants grew to large sized, and held up the monster. Ann gulped, and got an idea. She shoved her hand into the crack, and let the adrenaline rush through her. Her hands sparked, and more cracks ran through the monster. Large pieces that were once the monster floated in the air for a second, before evaporating away into nothingness. Ann fell through the air once the... Er, platform she had been on evaporated away.

Jack swooped down under her, and caught her. "You're hand looks pretty nasty." He said with a grimace. Ann looked at her hands, and one was covered in a neon green goop.

"Ugh." Ann snarled, swinging her hand around. The goop was slung around, successfully hitting Jack and the nearby Sophia.

"Sorry." Ann said to Sophia as she stepped down into the ground. Sophia to e a nod, wiping the goop off of her arm.

"No apology for me?" Jack asked dramatically from beside her. Ann turned to look at him, a smirk on her face.

"Nah, I'm cool with hitting you with that goop stuff." She said playfully.

"You wound me!" Jack said. Ann only shook her head, hiding her small, amused smile.

"That wasn't fun." Kyle said, as he and Astrid walked up to the three. "That wasn't fun at all."

Ann looked up at Kyle (she was the shortest one there) and glared at him. "You can't hesitate like that! Someone got hurt because you failed to help control the monster! That can't happen again! Get your crap together!"

"I was scared!" Kyle said, a bit angry himself.

"I was scared too!" Ann exploded, her fingers sparking. "You think I wasn't? And I was even more scared when my teammate was almost knocked out of the air! How would you feel if you were in my position, and it was Astrid who was almost knocked out of the air?" With that last statement, Ann stalked off, her fists clenched and sparking.

1230 words! Holy crap! I absolutely sick at writing these actions scenes. I realize that now. Oh well, too late to turn back now.
