Jack watched, shocked as Ann fell through the mirror.
What?!
Jack snapped into action as Ann fell through the mirror completely. She was out of sight. Her shriek ringing in his ears. Jack ran forward, and stuck his head through the mirror. He could see Ann falling, her long blond hair streaming out behind her.
"Ann!" Jack yelled put, reaching his hand out, through the mirror. "My queen!"
Ann twisted around to see Jack's worried face.
"Help me, you peasant!" And yelled out, lightning striking out from her fingertips.
Without thinking, Jack pushed through the mirror, and was falling a few feet above Ann. He reached out his hand, grasping wildly through the air for Ann's.
Ann reached out, and was able to grab Jack's hand.
"Did you bring something to help us?" Ann yelled mover the roaring wind.
Whoops. "No!"
"You idiot peasant!" Ann yelled, letting go of Jack's hand.
Jack heard yells from behind him. He looked over his shoulder to see Astrid and Kyle falling, wrapped in each others embrace, Emily following.
Sophia came out last, obviously holding back laughter. "Focus on floating!"
And Sophia was flying, fire streaming from her fingertips.
Wings seemed to have suddenly sprouted from Astrid's back, light from them shining bright in the night sky. Kyle began to float up. His eyebrows furrowed together, and he began to control where he was going.
Jack focused. He wanted to float. He wanted to fly. And it just... Happened. One minute, Jack was falling to his doom, and the other, Jack was floating in the air. He let out a whoop.
"This boy can fly!" Jack yelled, make Astrid laugh.
"Mhm! Good for you!" Ann yelled out from under him. "Houston, we have a problem!"
Ann gave a Jack a pointed look, probably because he was closest to her. "Beam me up, Scotty!" She yelled, half sarcastic, half pleading.
Jack streamed down, stretching his arms out in front of him. He felt like Superman. He grabbed Ann's waist, and pulled her close to him. He smirked, seeing that their noses were almost touching.
"You idiot." Ann scowled. And the duo flew to the ground, in front of yet another van.
