Katherine was captivated by the blue eyed blonde. He seemed smarter than the previous assistants she had. She loved the way he kept his calm even when he was flustered. Though Lionel was good at hiding his emotions and remaining professional, the pinkish tinge on his cheeks gave him away. He never broke her gaze. People always tend to look away when she looked into their eyes. Katherine usually did that to understand what was going on in their mind but with Lionel, she was just captured by the beauty of his eyes. Katherine knew that she would hire him as soon as she laid her eyes on him. The interview was just a formality. She thought it would really be a waste to let such fine man go before she had a taste of him. She knew that she was being unprofessional and a pervert but she didn't care. She never did.

Her brown eyes held him captured as she sipped the coffee. She almost cringed at its taste but managed to not show it on her face. Lionel wanted to ask if it was the right one but remained silent when she began giving out orders to him. "Make twenty-five copies of this file. I have a meeting in exactly half an hour and I want you to be with me and take notes at the meeting." As much as she wanted to keep looking at him, she immediately wanted him out of her sight. It was not a good idea to be horny in the middle of a busy day.

"Sure ma'am. Is that all? " He asked her looking into the documents. "Yes, as of now. "She replied, dismissing him. Katherine had always prided herself at her self-control. But it seemed like it was hanging on a thin piece of thread. She was not a woman who was serious about the men she dated. She just used them as an entertainment. A distraction from her work. That's always the reason she preferred one night stands over dating. She knew that men were not worth her attention or time but somehow Lionel had captured her attention at first sight. She dumped the coffee into dustbin and got up from her seat, adjusting her pencil skirt and at the same time Lionel barged into her office without knocking, quickly averting his eyes from her.

He mentally facepalmed himself for being unable to get her long legs out of his mind. His face felt hot as she stared at the flustered man. "Mr. Lawson, please knock the door before entering." Katherine said, not wanting to fluster him any further to which he muttered a quick sorry. Moreover, her eyes fell on his hands which tightly clutched the documents and suddenly imagined how nice it would look, cuffed to her bed. She quickly shook her head, trying to get the image out of her mind. She took her laptop and walked over to him when he finally dared to look up at her.

"Are you coming or not? " She snapped at him to which he rushed out before her. Katherine chuckled at the effect she had on him.

Lionel was shocked at how easily he got flustered in her presence. He wondered how he can continue working there if he had to constantly walk around blushing. But some part of Lionel was too excited at the thought of seeing her every day. He followed her towards the hall where meeting held and distributed the copies in front of all designated seats. Katherine wasn't affected by the encounter but Lionel was a whole different story.

People dressed in fancy suit started to flow in and took their respective seats. The meeting commenced as soon as everyone was seated and Lionel took his seat on the side. He did not have much work other than taking the minutes and soon enough he was bored. Somebody was explaining something and Lionel did not understand any technical aspects of it. However, Katherine seemed too immersed in it. Lionel stifled a yawn threatening to breakout and soon enough zoned out and resorted to looking around the meeting hall.

He was snapped back to reality by an intimidating but sharp voice. "Are you noting down the points Mr. Lawson? I want them after this meeting ends. " She said curtly, glaring at him. Lionel gulped looking embarrassed as everybody's attention snapped to him. "Yes Ms. Xavier. " He replied, flustered. The meeting continued for an hour while most men were checking her out instead of concentrating on what she said. Lionel couldn't understand why he was jealous but he couldn't get the nagging feeling out of his mind. It felt so wrong but he couldn't control the urge to punch those bastards. His blood boiled as he clenched his jaw and balled his fingers into fists which was hidden below the document he was holding. He felt bad for the woman who was oblivious to it and just carried on her work.

"Now if you gentlemen can really concentrate on what I'm saying, I need detailed reports on the matter within two days. The meeting is dismissed." she said and walked out of the hall with her laptop nodding at Lionel to follow her. Or maybe she was not really that oblivious but just chose to ignore it. Lionel rushed behind her to follow her to her cabin. She told him to take a seat in front of her desk to which he obliged and instead of sitting on her chair she leaned her back against her desk standing almost close to him. She eyed him carefully while he waited for her to speak.

"What was really so interesting that you couldn't concentrate back there?" She asked sternly and Lionel licked his lips nervously as her eyes trailed his action. His heart thumped in response to her question and he tried hard to come up with a suitable answer that would get him out of the boiling waters. After all, getting fired on the first day of the job would not really be a good thing on his portfolio.
