Derek's the first one over since he lives like ten minutes away. I'm sitting on the couch looking through Instagram when he walks in. Jake Miller's 'Ghost' is playing from my laptop next to me.
"Mami?" he asks, sitting next to me. Tears roll down my face and I lean into him. His arms wrap around me.
"Do not fear, Jack and Jack are here!" the boys call.
"And we brought chocolate and Cherry Coke," JJ says, handing me the goodies.
"Mama?" I hear Nate call.
"Babygirl?" asks Swazz.
"Babe?" says Sammy.
"Y-you guys d-d-didn't have to c-come. I ruined your b-beach day," I sniffle.
"You needed us. What's wrong ma?" Nate asks.
"I'm just having a bad day. Feeling insecure and not good enough. Like why are y'all even friends with me? There's a million other girls out there."
"Yeah but you're the only one who can put up with us all," Gilinsky says.
"We love you Jess. You're the glue that holds us all together," Swazz tells me. I smile a bit.
"Wanna stay in and watch Disney movies instead of the beach?" Sammy asks. I nod.
"Can one of y'all grab my blanket off my bed?" I ask.
"I got it mami," Derek says. He gets up and I move to snuggle with Swazz.
"I'ma make popcorn," JJ says.
"The Emperor's New Groove?" Gilinsky asks from near the TV. I nod and he puts it in.
"I love y'all. Thanks for making me feel better."
"Anything for you lil mama," Nate says.
"Of course babygirl," Swazz says as he kisses the top of my head.
"We gotchu babe," Sammy tells me.
"Love you home girl," says Gilinsky.
"I LOVE YOU THE MOST BESTIE!" JJ calls from the kitchen.
"Here mami. Oh and I love you more than JJ," Derek says with a wink as he covers me. I grin. My best friends are the best.
