Thank god for Sam or I would literally never be able to do anything for myself anymore. Don't get me wrong, being a mom is the best thing in the world, but sometimes I just need time to hang out with friends. To talk about adult things and not the latest episode of Paw Patrol that my four-year-old daughter, Anna loves so much. To eat food other than PB & J's and baby carrots for once.

"Babe are you sure you guys will be okay?" I ask for the millionth time as I head into mine and Sam's bedroom to start getting ready.

"Yes Ally, I promise we will be fine." Sam follows me into the room and spins me around to face him. He presses our lips together and I feel the same fireworks that I felt six years ago when we first started dating. Now we have a daughter and are getting married soon.

"I won't be gone long. I just am going to finalize the bridesmaids dresses with Andrea and then I'll be back," I say, wrapping my arms around his torso.

"Take your time. Go shopping or get your nails done or something mama, you need a break," he tells me, kissing the tip of my nose. I smile at him.

"You really are the best, you know that?" I tell him.

"Obviously," he says with a wink before pushing me lightly in the direction of our closet. I dress simply in skinny jeans and a black V-neck. I brush on some foundation, mascara, and lipgloss before heading out to find my fiancée and daughter.

"Be back later babes," I say, kissing Anna's cheek and Sammy's lips.

"Don't worry about us, we'll be perfectly fine, right princess?" Sam asks Anna who tears her gaze away from Disney Jr. long enough to nod at Sam.

"Okay, okay, I'm leaving."

"I love you my future bride," Sam says with a cute smile.

"I love you too my future husband." I walk out the door and get into my car, pulling away from home and away from my little family.

"Ally we have to hang out more! I miss you!" Andrea says as we walk into the bridal shop.

"I know, it's just been crazy with the wedding plans and Anna starting kindergarten next year and Sam releasing an album. I feel like I barely have time to breathe anymore," I say, pushing my sunglasses up on my head.

"Ally! We have the bridesmaid's dresses all set up for you in a private room, just follow me," the employee, Sasha, who has been assigned to my wedding shrieks as we walk in.

"Great! This is my friend Andrea, she's part of the wedding. Since my maid of honor is still in Omaha I though I'd bring her along." I make the introductions.

"Fantastic. Here are the dresses we picked out according to your color scheme and plans that you sent over. Feel free to browse for more if you don't like any of the choices and let me know if you need a different size Andrea!" Sasha says. Andrea and I walk over to the racks and my eye immediately lands on a soft pink dress.

"This is the one," I whisper to myself.

"Huh?" Andrea says, bouncing up to me.

"This is it. It's perfect! Go try it on!!" I say, handing her the dress. She shrugs and heads to a changing room. Andrea reemerges moments later and my eyes light up.

"That's the one," I tell her and Sasha.

"That was the quickest decision you've ever made Al," Andrea says with a laugh as she spins around to look at herself in all of the mirrors.

"I know, it took longer for me to pick my outfit this morning. But I can feel it. That's the one." Sasha nods.

"I love it. Personally it's one of my favorites. The color is just beautiful and the straps are removable in case you decide against them," Sasha says. I grin at Andrea.

"Okay, so we have six pairs not counting the bride and groom. Here's the sizes that we need and I can bring the other girls in when the dresses are finished so just give me a call," I say handing Sasha a piece of paper.

"Brilliant! I'll let you know when everything's finished Ally!" she says. I hug her and Andrea quickly changes back into her street clothes before we leave.

"That was fun. The dresses are stunning Al," she says when we are back on the road.

"I know, I love them. Everything is falling into place Andrea. Now comes the hard part...waiting." Andrea laughs.

"Shall we do lunch?" she asks.

"I thought you'd never ask." We head to a cute little café we go to every time we are together and enjoy lunch but soon I'm missing my baby and fiancée so I decide to call it a day.

"Thanks for coming with me Andrea," I tell her as we make the short drive to her apartment complex.

"Of course! Let me know when you have another free day so we can get our nails done or something!" she says. We pull in and I hug Andrea before she walks into the building.

"Hello?" I call as I walk into my house 15 minutes later. No one answers but I hear giggling coming from Anna's room.

"Princess Anna, Teddy the Bear won't share the cookies!" I hear Sam whine before Anna dissolves into giggles.

"Here is your teacup King Daddy. And Teddy! Share the cookies!" my daughter says. I slowly push the door open and my eyes light up at the sight before me. Sam and Anna are sitting around her little table in the middle of the room. Sammy's dressed up in a shirt and tie and sitting, barely, on the little plastic chair surrounded by stuffed animals. Anna has a tiara on and a pink dress up dress and is dishing out cookies and pouring water out of a teapot. I grin.

"Mommy's home!" Anna shrieks when she sees me. She runs into my arms and I lift her up.

"Mommy's home!" Sam says, standing and embracing us. He kisses me and Anna sticks her tongue out.

"Yuck. Boys have cooties," she says.

"Yes they do and that's why you're not getting a boyfriend until you're at least thirty years old," Sam says, taking Anna from my arms.

"I'm never getting a boyfriend Daddy. You're my king I don't need anyone else," she says, hugging Sam.

"Very true princess," he says, stroking her hair. I smile at the two of them.

"Bridesmaids dresses are picked out! One less thing to worry about," I tell Sam.

"Fantastic!"

"Did you guys have a good day?" I ask my daughter and future husband. Anna nods.

"Yes! We played dress up and had a tea party and daddy let me have ice cream for lunch!" Anna says before covering her mouth and looking at Sam with wide eyes.

"Shh! Anna that was our secret!" he says.

"Ice cream for lunch?! That's crazy!" I say. Anna giggles.

"Well, what do you think about going to see Uncle Jack and Aunt Mari?" I ask Anna. Mari had texted while I was driving asking if Anna wanted to come over to swim.

"Will Julian be there?" Anna asks excitedly.

"Well he lives there...." I say. Anna escapes from Sam's arms and starts jumping up and down.

"Can we go swimming there?!" she exclaims. I nod.

"Find your swim suit," I say. Anna runs over to her dresser and starts digging around while Sam and I walk to our room across the hall for our own pool things.

"I love you having time to hang with friends, but I have to say I missed you," Sam says, nuzzling his face into my neck from behind. I feel his lips and my eyelids flutter. He sure knows how to make my knees go weak.

"Missed you too," I say turning around. Sam keeps kissing my neck and I moan softly. His lips soon find mine and our kiss quickly turns into a makeout session.

"Cooootieeeesssssss!!!!!" Anna yells as she runs in and starts jumping on our bed. Sam and I start laughing.
