Love Mess (Jack Johnson) pt. 3

After shopping, JJ and I head back to his house to get ready since Nate, Swazz, and Derek are getting their's ready for the party.

"Are you gonna tell D you liiiiiiiiiike him tonight?" Jack asks as i collapse on his bed and watch him roam around his room, slowly getting ready.

"You know he don't want no real relationship J."

"He could, and should, change his mind for you Lina." I shake my head.

"How about you? Any special ladies comin' to hang with you tonight?" Jack laughs.

"Funny. No. Not at all." I roll my eyes. 

"You really need a girlfriend J," I tell him. He flings his t-shirt at me in response.

"I'm workin' on it," he says. I smile softly, completely oblivious to the look of longing in Jack's eyes.
