I woke up to an empty bed and a quiet house which is weird. If my six-month-old son, Trenton, wasn't making noise, my husband, Nate was. I kick the covers off and pull a sweatshirt on over the tanktop I slept in. I pad down to the kitchen in my socks and find a note on the counter.

Babe, took T out so you could sleep in! Be back later!
Love, N

Well okay then. I leave the note on the counter, glancing at the clock on the microwave, it's 10:30. I decide to make myself breakfast. Usually I just grab some fruit because I'm busy getting food ready for Trenton and Nate. Today, though, I go all out. I cook some eggs, fry some bacon, and fry up some tamales that my mom had sent over the last time her and my aunts made them.

After breakfast I shower and dress in some shorts and one of Nate's t-shirts. I throw my hair up into a messy bun and end up on the couch in the living room. I flip through the channels before settling on an old episode of Friends. My phone goes off a few seconds later.

Hubby: on our way home need anything?

Me: nope i'm good

I get bored with my show and turn music on instead. I pick up the baby toys scattered about and organize the living room. As I'm cleaning off counters in the kitchen I hear the front door open.

"We're home!" Nate calls.

"I'm in the kitchen!" I yell back. I hear him set the carseat down on the floor.

"C'mon bud, we're home," I hear him say to Trenton. They walk into the kitchen and a smile overtakes my face.

"You guys are adorable!" I exclaim. Nate and Trenton are decked out in matching outfits. From their black t-shirts to their Addidas track pants and matching white high tops.

"Lil man's got swag, what can I say," Nate says, walking over to me and kissing my lips.

"This is what you did all day?" I ask when he pulls away.

"Mhm. Had to get the little guy lookin' as fresh as his pops," Nate tells me. I grin.

"Well I think you both look adorable." I smile at my boys and take Trenton out of Nate's arms.

"Gilinsky invited us over for food later," Nate says as he finishes the chore I was doing before he got home.

"After nap time I hope?"

"Yeah he said around five. Plenty of time for T's nap and for us to....ya know...." Nate trails off and winks at me.

"Nathan Maloley is that all you think about?" I say with a grin. I set Trenton down in his high chair and deposit some cheerios for him to munch on.

"Adriana Maloley don't act like you don't miss all of this," he says back, gesturing to his body. I chuckle and shake my head.

"Idiot," I murmur as I wrap my arms around his neck lovingly.

"Yes but your idiot," he mutters back. Nate places his hands on my hips and pulls me close to him. Just as our lips are about to touch....Trenton starts crying.

"Well I guess we're gonna have to finish later mama," Nate says with a grin as he picks our son up.

"What's wrong big guy?" I ask Trenton who is still whimpering.

"Someone needs their diaper changed. I did it last time," Nate responds in a sing song voice. I narrow my eyes at him before taking the baby to change his diaper.

"Babe! Can you get a bottle ready? I think he's ready for his nap!" I call to Nate from the nursery.

"I'm on it!" he calls back. I finish changing Trenton and take a seat on the floor to feed him. Nate comes in a moment later with the bottle.

"Here you are madam Maloley," he says to me. I roll my eyes but smile at him. Trenton falls asleep a few minutes into the bottle and I carefully set him in his crib before slipping out of the room.

"Now I got you all to myself," Nate says, picking me up and carrying me bridal style.

"Yes you do," I respond, kissing his neck. He moans before tossing me onto the bed. He climbs on top of me and nuzzles his face into the crook of my own neck. His breath tickles me and I laugh.

"What's so funny?" he asks innocently.

"You're tickling me," I say, biting my lip.

"Like this?" he asks, kissing my neck again and making me squirm.

"Or like this?" he says before his fingers start tickling my sides. I laugh and slap at his arm but that just edges him on.

"Stop stop stop!!!!" I say between laughs.

"Say the magic words," Nate tells me, continuing to tickle torture me.

"Never," I say trying to catch my breath.

"Say them!" he says with a smile.

"Fine! Nathan Maloley is the most amazing husband and the hottest mother f-er I have ever met and I love him!" I shriek. His hands still and I catch my breath finally. He kisses me and I smile into the kiss.

"I love you Nathan," I say. His eyes narrow at the sound of his full name.

"Te amo mucho Adriana Mercedes," he says back in his horrible Spanish, using the middle name I despise. I smile anyways and kiss him again. How did I get so lucky?
