"Jack have you saw my sunglasses?" I call to my twin brother, rummaging around my bedroom.

"Whaa?" he comes into my room with a mouthful of toothpaste and I roll my eyes at him.

"Ugh, you're no help JJ!" I say cracking a smile.

"Hurry up we gotta meet Gilinsky and Madison in ten," he says around the mouthful of foamy toothpaste.

"Yay. I cannot wait to spend the day with Madison," I tell him sarcastically.

"Play nice Emily," Jack says before walking out of my room.

"I will if she does," I mumble. I finally locate my glasses and ten minutes later Jack and I are headed to Santa Monica to meet Gilinsky and his so-called "wonderful" girlfriend.

"JACK! You're finally here!" a high squeaky voice calls. I roll my eyes as the dark haired chick runs up and hugs my twin. She doesn't acknowledge me which just pisses me off even more. JJ and Gilinsky do their weird handshake thing.

"What up Baby Johnson?" G says to me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. I elbow him in the side.

"You know, I could easily take you in a fight Gilinsky." I look up at him since he towers over me.

"You could not," he says. He moves away and pretends to throw punches and box me out.

"Oh but I could Pretty Boy," I swing my own fists, colliding with his hands.

"Damn, that one had some heat on it Johnson!" he says rubbing the palm I just hit. I grin.

"Can we GO now?!" Madison whines from behind me. Gilinsky smiles and shrugs at me. He walks over to his girlfriend and pecks her lips.

"Let's go homies," G says. I glance at JJ and he shakes his head slightly. I smile. After grabbing my skateboard out of the backseat I take off in front of the others.

"Emily! Over here homegirl!" my best friend, Kelsi calls from near an ice cream cart.

"What up girl? How's it goin?"

"Great! You here with your bro?"

"Yep, and Gilinsky and Madison," I tell her, making a face after Madison's name. Kelsi laughs.

"How is the famous Jadison?" she asks, referring to the ship name Jack G's fans came up with.

"Oh great. They're adorable. It makes me sick."

"You're so dramatic Em," Kelsi says. Madison's laughter rings out and I turn to see her push herself on her tip toes to kiss Gilinsky.

"And there it is," I say. I fake gag and Kelsi playfully shoves me before we start laughing. Jack - my brother - walks up then.

"Well hello Kelsi," he says, swinging an arm around her. Kelsi rolls her eyes. JJ's had a thing for Kels since we became friends in first grade. But Kelsi doesn't care for him. Which I'm okay with, I think it'd be weird if my best friend and twin brother dated.

"Nice to see you too JJ," Kelsi says before pushing my brother away.

"Ill meet you guys back here later," I say to mostly Jack.

"K, be safe little sister. Hugs not drugs!" he calls. I roll my eyes.

"Awwwww! You were supposed to hang out with us today Em!" Gilinsky whines.

"I'll be back later," I tell him. He pouts his lip.

"You're such a baby Gilinsky," I say with a grin.

"It's not my fault you're ditching us," he tells me, dropping Madison's hand and walking over to me. He wraps his arms around my body. I see JJ grinning and Kelsi's eyes go wide.

"No worries, I'll be back soon." Gilinsky detaches himself from me and I skate off with Kelsi.

"He likes you," she says when we're far enough away. I roll my eyes.

"How many times do I have to tell you he only thinks of me as a little sister?"

"How many other guys would constantly want to be around a girl who they 'only think of as a little sister'? None. He likes you Emily. And I know you like him too."

"Okay, fine, but he's with Madison! How can you say that he likes me if he's with her? And obviously she makes him pretty happy if they've been together for so long." I have a point and Kelsi knows it.

"Ooh, let's get a funnel cake!" she says. And that's the end of that conversation.
