"Stop torturing me we have to schedule classes!" I yell as Jack tickles me. It's our last week of the first semester and we really need to get this done. But he would rather mess with me and distract me. This boy.

"Fine, fine. Let's schedule classes. What do you have to take?" he asks. I pull my laptop onto the bed by where we are sitting. Jack grabs his out of his backpack as well and we open the college's site.

"Spanish, journalism 303, and one more gen ed which I believe will be sociology." My fingers move over the keys.

"But you have to have 12 credit hours to be considered full time remember," he says. I nod.

"What about a dance class? I miss dancing and it would be a fun stress reliever too," I say, typing things in. I get my three major classes scheduled along with a children's literature class.

"Sure, that'd be good for you."

"You mean good for us," I say slyly. Jack turns his attention away from his laptop screen and looks at me.

"What do you mean 'us'?"

"You should take it with me!" I exclaim.

"What? Why? You know I can't dance Amber," he says.

"Yes but you'll take it because you love me," I say with a big smile.

"I do indeed love you, but not enough to make a fool out of myself in a dance class," he says, kissing my nose.

"C'mon Jack! It'll be fun! I'm sure you won't look like a fool and that there will be lots of other guys taking the class!" I give Jack the puppy dog look, knowing he can't refuse it.

"It's a good thing you're cute Amber," he says. I grin at him before pecking his cheek and getting back to scheduling my classes for next semester.

*a few weeks later*

"I still can't believe you forced me into this," Jack says as we walk into the rec building.

"I didn't force you into anything G. I just swayed your opinion on the matter a little," I say sweetly as we climb the stairs to the second floor. There's a few kids waiting outside of the aerobics studio where our class will be held. Another workout class is in there right now and we have about ten minutes before ours is supposed to start.

"No, you definitely forced me into it homegirl," Jack says as we slid into a sitting position against the wall.

"Hey are you two taking the dance class too?" a girl asks. I look up and smile at her.

"Yeah! Are you?"

"Oh yeah, but I'm not a very good dancer. Have you danced before?" she asks. I nod.

"I used to take lessons but stopped after high school. Jack here has never." I point at my boyfriend who smiles as well.

"And Amber here likes to embarrass me. Which is why I'm here. What's your name?" he asks.

"Tasha," she says.

"Nice to meet you Tasha I'm Amber and this is my boyfriend Jack." Another girl walks up, eyeing Jack up and down, I glare at her but she ignores me.

"Are you taking dance too?" Tasha asks the newcomer who nods.

"What's your name?" Tasha questions.

"Alivia," the blonde girl responds.

"I'm Tasha."

"I'm Amber," I say.

"I'm Jack. Nice to meet you Alivia," he says politely. Alivia smiles at him. A few more kids join us and we introduce ourselves. Andy seems cool, Martin has danced before and is dancing to his headphones while we wait, Carly is nice, Lia is sweet, and Ashley is Alivia's friend and as soon as she walks up they start whispering and pointing at Jack.

"Hey are you guys my hip hop class?" a woman asks, coming up to us. We all nod.

"Cool! I'm Amy, I'll be your professor." Just then the aerobic studio doors open and we are free to enter. Jack and I set our things on the back counter. I change out of my street shoes and into my hip hop shoes. Jack pulls his sweatshirt off, revealing an old Westside Basketball t-shirt with the sleeves cut off on underneath. As the rest of the class comes in and makes themselves comfortable, I pull my sweats off to show my dance shorts underneath. I catch Jack staring at me as I change and wink at him. Alivia slinks onto the dance floor in front of him, wearing a pair of very tight leggings and a crop top. She grins at my boyfriend as she takes her spot on the floor.

We start off with stretching. Alivia makes sure to always look back at Jack before bending down in front of him to easily touch her toes. I roll my eyes at her multiple times. After stretching we get right into the choreography Amy has come up with. We dance to Strip That Down by Liam Payne. I catch on to the moves easily, but because our class has a lot of first time dancers, we go really slow.

"Can I watch what you guys have so far?" Amy asks near the end of class. We all nod and she stands by the mirror after playing the music instead of joining us in the dance routine.

"Nice job guys. I want to try something a little different though. This time I'm going to have a couple of you perform and the rest of you guys watch because sometimes it's easier to catch on when you see the dance done by someone you can relate to in ability. So, Amber, Alivia, and Martin can you guys share center and the rest of you can sit in front of them?" While everyone moves I sneak a glance at Jack. He smiles and gives me a thumbs up. I fix my ponytail before the music starts up and my concentration goes to my feet.

"Okay one more time but this time just watch Amber. Her facials are really good and she's already starting to incorporate her own style into the combination," Amy says. I blush. Alivia and Martin take a seat, Alivia sitting very close to Jack. The music starts up and I lose myself in the beat and in Liam's singing.

"Nice job Amber. Okay, that's all we have time for today guys. I have to run off to my next class but feel free to stay and practice for a few more minutes if you need to!" Amy says before grabbing her back and leaving. Jack walks up to me.

"Damn girl I forgot how sexy you look when you dance," he says, putting his hands on my hips. I move my arms so my forearms are resting on his shoulders.

"You're cheesy Gilinsky," I tell him. He grins.

"Y'all are so cute, how long have you been dating?" Tasha asks from the back of the room where everyone else is.

"Three and a half years," Jack tells her. I smile and rest my head against him. I see Alivia huff off, everyone looks after her as she slams the door open to leave.

"Someone's a little jealous...." Tasha says. I grin.

"I have to get to psychology but coffee date later?" Jack asks, pecking my cheek. I nod.

"See you then cutie," I say, grabbing my bag.

"I love you!!!" Jack calls as he walks out of the room.

"I love you more!" I yell back. I look at Tasha who is looking at her phone.

"Wanna go get food?" I ask her. She nods. I see the back of Jack as we walk out of the room.

"I told you dance class wouldn't be so bad!!" I call after him. He flips me off and keeps walking. I love him.
