(Qing's POV)

While walking to get to my cabin, my mind is busy thinking of two things.

Dayu...

And if I should leave for Beijing to protect my sisters.

But Dayu's biggest targets are in this base. General Zong and my father. Although on the other hand, he knew I am strong, if I stay here, he might change his mind and went for my sisters instead.

No! Dayu is not like that. He is kind and sweet. He will not kill my sisters.

He is an assasin. The infamous "The Shadow". He killed innocent people, even children, in Nanjing. And he threatened to kill me and my sisters because we have Wang blood.

Damn it! When will I make up my mind about him?

Is Dayu sweet and innocent? Or is he a merciless monster?

He is not here but he can still drive the senses out of my mind. Sweet Buddha.

I walked with a frown in my face. My eyes glaring and squinting. No wonder the soldiers went out of their way to avoid me. They will stop and turn their back or pretend to be busy while I passed by them.

Like I have any plan on stopping to deal with them. I have bigger problems to solve.

Like where is Dayu and how should I start finding out more details about that raid.

But mostly my problem is Dayu and where I can find him.

"Qing," Jiang, the brave soul to approach me. "What are you thinking while driving everyone away from you?"

I stopped and turn to my friend, "Jiang. If you are Dayu, where will you hide?"

Jiang groaned in dismay. "You being like this is the reason why Mei worries about you. Please Qing, he is an assasin, let him go!" He begged.

I turn my back on him. Jiang is no help. I heard him sigh and follow me. "He is probably halfway to SiChuan by now," he offered as an opinion.

I frown, he has a point. Dayu is from SiChuan, he might hide there.

But his targets are here. I got this strong intuition that he will not leave HanZong until he gets his revenge.

"No, he is still nearby." I said.

"Then he is in the forest. Together with his cohorts in black," Jiang replied.

I stopped again. "You think?"

He gave me an exasperated look, "No Qing! I don't know. For one, I am not Dayu. For another, I don't have any idea how an assasin like him thinks!"

He is frustrating me. I turn my back on him again and continued walking alone until I got into my cabin. Jiang got tired of following me.

I was about to open the lock on my door when I felt something. Someone came near my cabin door.

Dayu!
