As we got closer those five people who were sitting were now clear to me , they were three boys and two girls who sitting, they were lauging something I thought I would never see in a place like this , Madison let go of my hand and dived onto the chair, giving what I presume her friends handshakes. I stoped walking and stood in front of the table, I placed my hands back into my pockets and cleared my throat waiting for anyone or anything to notice me

"Can we help you ?"A voice filled with anger said startling me

"Excuse me?" I questioned not really sure who said that as everyone at the table was now looking at me

"I don't think I stutter" His icy blue eyes stared into mine, I wasn't looking for trouble but if he wants trouble then it takes two to tango

"Never said you did" I pulled my hands out of my pockets and balled them into fist I need to calm down before I do something I might terribly regret but that's a huge might I'm already in here and my life is basically over so I have nothing to lose

He scoffed dropping his bread onto his plate ''What did you say to me?" He roughly pushed his chair back causing the room to fall silent and the chair to lay flat on its back I looked around the room and everyone was looking at us and just like that they continued back to what they were previously doing it was if they knew this guy and his tendencies didn't surprise them anymore

"I don't think I stutter"I smirked, he flared his nose and hit his fists against the table

"Watch it Leo" Madison jumped up interjecting her arms were up like a shield she smiled at me over her shoulder and faced the boy with a straight face ."No!" I said causing Madison's face to snap back in surprise it was if she just saw a ghost she was surprised heck I was surprised , "Let him speak he obviously has something to say" I said gently pushing down Madison arm in front of me

He walked towards me and I did the same his face inches away from mine ,"You better get away from my face or I swear"I said not sure whether he was going to strangle me or kill me on the spot he was scary no lie but if I was going to go down I was going to go down with a little pride and dignity after being so outcasted in my life but he turned to Maddie , "Tell you friend to be careful she doesn't know me" He said before looking at me and brushing roughly my shoulder as he passed by, I turned around and watched him walk towards the door "Yeah walk away" I said and he turned back but was quickly pushed by a man in a white coat and glasses he shot me a glare and like that he was gone.

"You have alot of balls" The boy with scruffy hair said putting out his fist towards me"Nathan-" he said I breathed out the air I didn't know I was holding and fist bumped him. "-but I guess what they say about the quiet ones is true" he smirked showing his dimples and stuffed a piece of meat in his mouth, the girl sitting next to him shoved her elbow into his arm and gave gim a deadly glare I chuckled slightly and sat down to Maddison whose eyes were filled with empathy and sadness

"Sorry about Leo he as a bad temper I should of warned you Im sorry " Madison said chewing a piece of carrot on her plate, thought she said the food could kill, I nodded and the girl sitting next to Nathan cleared her throat."Oh sorry!" Madison cleared her throat "Nevaeh this is Paris the nerd whose sitting next to me then that's Ella the sassy Sally next to chatty Nathan and the guy whose over there into his thoughts is Shane" I waved at all of them and they nodded their heads, they seemed like nice people so far but you can't just judge a book based on the cover

"Back so soon?" Nathan said a cocky smile appearing on his face as Leo's appeared in sight .Leo clenched his jaw and took back his chair from the place he pushed it he pushed it back before sitting down with this hands together ,"Don't you dare" he said looking at Nathan he seemed awfully amused by his behavior

Shane pushed a plate towards me a smiled showing his perfectly straight teeth "Unpleasing food for a pleasing girl" he said and I couldn't help but cock my eyebrow up in surprise was this guy serious?

"Isn't this your food?"I questioned

"It's my third plate I think I'm good" he joked lightening my mood, I nodded lightly and flashed him a small but noticeable smile I hesitated a bit taking a piece of carrot and stuffing it in my mouth it's been a long day and I needed something anything in my stomach . Leo flashed Shane a glare and Shane just shrugged his shoulders "No harm no fowl right buddy" then patted his hand on Leo's back his eyes were full of hate and anger it was if he was just about kill , in all my life I've never seen such a person he seemed angry , annoyed , disgusted , hurt . It seemed like he had all his emotions and feelings tucked away and buried deep as if he didn't want anyone to see the real him but I wonder what the real him is ?

"I think I'm going to go sleep" He said standing up from his chair and glaring to me , he nodded at the rest and I just stared at him he pushed in his chair the other's waved goodbye to him and he disappeared into the cafeteria doors "Well I better go" Shane said repeating the same actions as Leo but instead of glaring at me he took my hand and shook it it he then smiled at me and also disappeared through the door everyone gave me mischievous grins,"Well I that's my que to leave wouldn't want the ladies getting the wrong ideas by me sitting with well girls" he said running towards the door and waving goodbye to us

Paris glared down at her watch and signaled us to go we all stood up and left the cafeteria. The the air felt heavy against my face as it blowed with force , I placed my hands in my pockets and walked on the pathway silently as Paris, Ella and Madison laughed and talked on the side

"I have to give you props Nevaeh" Paris said taking of her glasses, I was surprised that she could speak considering the fact that she was quiet at the cafeteria during the conversations and almost fights

"Why?"

"You stod up to Leo-" she said wiping her glasses on her shirt then putting them on,"-Not a lot of people can actually do that"

I shrugged,"It's not anything big he doesn't scare me heck he should be scared of me" I said thinking about what I just said I couldn't explain exactly why I said it, why would I say that was it finally clear for me to see that I needed to change??. No, definitely not it was just a heat of the moment thing.Hopefully.

Then the quietness was disturbed by a burst of laughter, the girls were laughing at me,"Hey I'm scaring and intimidating" I said folding my arms and pouting out like a baby

Ella wiped and her eyes and held her stomach, "Cute really cute but seriously be careful, we like you and we don't want Leo to do anything to you so just keep your distance from him okay" Keep my distance ?, we don't want Leo to do anything to you?. Was Leo that scary what exactly was the boy capable of, what if Madison didnt interject would I still be alive?.

My head was pounding , flooding with questions that desperately needed answers to. "Nevaeh?" Maddie questioned looking at me I was standing outside while she was standing by her bed already dressed in her pajamas and slippers I really needed to stop drifting off into my thoughts but I can't help it once I start I just can't stop

I threw myself on the the bed and closed my eyes, hoping that I could think of anything else or anyone else I don't know what was it about this Leonardo that had my mind going in circles although intimidating and scary there was something about his eyes the way they sparkled the way they made me feel........maybe Im just way over my head , what am I thinking this guy has bad news written all over him and the last thing I want is trouble I mean me and him already had a one on one......... I don't know........but damn I really do want to know.........
