I leaned over the railing watching the waves crash , their violent crashes seemed to calm me but they also made me remember Nevaeh and her fear of the water
I shook my chuckling thinking of Nevaeh
"What are you laughing at" Neveah said and I turned to face her with a smile
"You" I chuckled as she stood beside me
"I'm afraid to ask" She chuckled
"How's your arm" I brushed my fingers over her cast
"Ehhhh its alright" She said looking at her cast
"You seem a whole lot better"
"Oh so today I don't look like shit" She cocked her eyebrow up
"No you look like the beautiful flower you are"
"Your so cheesey Davies"
"And you still look beautiful" I said and she smiled tilting her head to the side
"Are you hungry" I said and she nodded
"Let's get some food inside you then" She smiled and we walked down to the a food truck away from the ocean
"Hello there what can I get you" The server said leaning over and looking down at us , I looked over to Neveah and shrugged not sure what she wanted and what I wanted
"Can we have two Beach waffles" She said without hesitating
"You sure know your food"
"We used to this food truck everday Nirvana and I"
"Two Beach waffles" The server said handing us our food , I reached into my pocket to take out so money but she smiled and shook her head , "No need Sir Neveah has done alot for us already" She said and I looked over to Neveah
"Are you coming or not" She said and I followed her
"Neveah has done alot for us already" I questioned her as we walked to the railing where we were previously standing
"It's a long story" She said brushing it off
"Oh sensitive topic I see" I said
"Something like that" She gave me a small smile and took a bite out of her waffle sandwich
"So today is a nice day"
"Great weather"
"What do you think ?"
"The sun is shinning"
"Do you feel like icecream ?"
"Or a slushie ?"
"Smoothie perhaps ?"
"Leo !" Nevaeh said and I laughed
"I'm sorry I just wanted to see how you would react" I smiled and she rolled her eyes but smiled before taking another bite
After we were done eating we walked on the sand with Nevaeh far away from the water
"The water feels amazing" I screamed so she could hear me from the other side as I moved closer into the water
