I swear it happened in slow motion , I dropt the box I was holding and ran straight to Neveah , her arms flapped in the air and her hair covered her face , I caught her just in just the nic of time
She gasped as soon as I caught her , our eye's locked and both or chests were moving unevenly I put her down not loosing the grip on her waist and her not letting go of my neck , one of the light's stopped working and the room went dim the moon's light shined against her skin and I swear I was looking at an angel
"I told you not to fall" I said but it was if I had just run a marathon , I couldn't catch my breathe
"I didn't fall now did I you caught me" She smiled her voice also as if she ran a marathon , "Thank you"
"Anytime" I said in a whispered cleraly mesmerized by her
"Uhm yeah we're up here looking for old home videos of me and Nirvana" Neveah said letting go of my neck and pulling away from my grip
"Oh uhm I think I saw a few tapes in the box next to the stairs" I said scratching my head
"Oh awesome they all here that was easier than expected" She said standing up and picking up the box
"Lemme help you , you litreally just fell" I said taking the box away from her
"And your bleeding jeez" Neveah said grabbing my hand and pulling me down the stairs and down again the stairs , she sat me down by the kitchen chairs and took the box from me disappearing
"What happened to you ?" Nathan said coming in with a pot
"I don't know" I shrugged , "Heck I didnt know I got hurt"
"Is it sore" Paris said tilting her head
"No"
Nevaeh then appeared with small white tin box and placed it on the counter , she pulled a small round plastic bow out of the tin box and filled it with water . Lifting my hair out my face she inspected my wound attentively she placed the gauze in the water and then on my wound , I winced when the gauze went into contact with my skin she looked down at me and whispered "I'm sorry" then continued cleaning the wound
"How come it's not painful" Madison said taking out a plaster from the tin
"It's probably the adrenaline" Neveah said taking the plaster from Madison and placing it on my head
"Adrenaline from what exactly ?" Nathan said nudging my arm and giving me sly smile
I looked at Neveah and we both chuckled , "Well I fell from the ladder"
"You fell from the ladder ?" Uncle Thomas burst through the door and went straight to Neveah cupping her cheeks
"Are you okay , should I take you to a doctor I'm taking you to a doctor" He said and Neveah chucked
"I'm okay really" She said hugging her Uncle
"As long as your okay that's all that matters"He said kissing the top of her head , he gave everyone a wink and hit lightly on my shoulder and then he went out of the kitchen
"You fell and ?" Nathan said pouring the water down the drain and then rinsing it
"I fell and Leonardo caught me nothing more"
