Opening my eyes has become an incredibly hard task. I'm trying to do the easiest task known-to-man but I can't. Taking another deep breath. On the count of three, just open them. Force them open, if you have to. One, two, three.

When they open, I'm met with incredibly bright lights, blinding me. I try to look around but my head can't move. I move my eyes around and see balloons and flowers, but no people. Where the hell are the people that were talking to me literally five minutes ago? I hear my door open and am finally met with someone. He shines a small light in my eye and I close them to prevent seeing that horrid light anymore.
"Eye response is good." he says. I try to breathe but I gag. Oh god, they put a tube in my throat. I begin coughing and gagging like a mad-woman. "Okay, okay." the man puts his hand on my shoulder. "Look at me, focus on me." I do as he says and am met with kind, brown eyes. He smiles and begins to remove the tube. I gag when it comes out and then cough once more. "Sorry, should've done that first." he chuckles, I try to laugh too, but my throat is so sore. "You won't be able to speak for a few days, but no worries." he smiles and over comes the woman.
"Oh god baby!" she throws her arms around me and hugs me.
The doctor puts his hand on my shoulder and reads something from a folder. "Welcome back, Mika."
Mika? Is that who I am? Who's this woman hugging me? What am I doing here? Why am I here? Where am I?
