Like I said before, social interactions with others are not in my field. It's strange, really. You'd expect someone with royal blood to be an outgoing, classy individual.
Despite that, it's just not me. For all of the years I've been alive, I've never once attended a royal gathering to my liking.
Then, without any prior warning, things changed. My life became completely exotic.
All it took was one magical night.
One magical night that pivoted into my life without permission. One magical night that set the course of my future completely awry.
One magical night that changed my entire life.
The reason for that? It was simple.
That night was the night I stumbled upon you.
"Brush."
Rosé winced as Jisoo ran the dark green brush she had just been handed through her hair with an extensive force, causing her to nearly fall off her seat.
"Ow, Jisoo." Rosé hissed in pain. "You're supposed to brush my hair, not destroy it."
"You know better than to bother me while I'm in work mode, Rosé." Jisoo responded shortly, not taking her eyes off of the brush as she continued to - with a somewhat lighter force as her way of apologizing - brush Rosé's hair.
Rosé glanced over at Jennie and Lisa through the white vanity mirror, in which they returned pitying stares. Nothing and no one could stop Jisoo when she was this focused.
"Done." Jisoo said, pulling away from Rosé and smiling endearingly. "You look beautiful, Rosé."
Another fascinating quality about Jisoo possessed: she was never wrong. Especially not about this.
"Stunning." Jennie said, smiling at Rosé. "I didn't think it was possible for you to look prettier."
"I'm jealous." Lisa joked, pouting from behind Rosé. "Jisoo, work your magic on me please."
In a flash, Lisa had seized Jisoo's hand and pulled her into the bathroom, while Jisoo muttered something along the lines of "I should have slept in this morning."
The door to the bathroom slammed shut, leaving Jennie and Rosé alone. Neither one of them said a word at first, due to the entire "situation" that had recently been going on as well as the drastic changes in their lives.
"How are you doing these days?" Rosé asked Jennie, finally deciding to break the ice.
She mentally flinched at her casual choice of words. If Jennie hadn't been standing there, Rosé would have quite literally punched herself.
Jennie sighed. "How do you think I'm doing, Rosé? I'm still in love with my ex-boyfriend, and he's unwillingly engaged to someone else."
"I'm sorry." Rosé whispered, getting up from her seat to sit down next to Jennie. "About everything. I really am. I never meant for any of this to happen."
