I'll admit, I was confused. Holding hands with you was magical, but it was supposed to feel wrong. Why didn't it, though?

I didn't have time to think about the consequences. Saying "I was just a teenager" was an inadequate excuse, but an excuse is still a reason nonetheless. You had lured me in, and I had unintentionally fallen for you. It wasn't supposed to happen, but it did.

You asked me if I regretted it, and I said no. To this day, my answer remains the same. Why?

If it hadn't been for you, I never would have gotten to where I am today.

Rosé woke up feeling confused and different. She didn't understand why at first, and it was only a matter of seconds before the memories came flooding back.

"Oh no." Rosé whispered quietly to herself, slowly filling with dread. What the hell had she done?

Of course, with Rosé being a "lover of love", as her friends would put it, she just had to savor the moment when Jaehyun had taken her hand in his. She didn't know what she'd been thinking, or if she had even been thinking. It was all such a blur to her, yet all too familiar.

They'd held hands. They'd stared off into the distance. He'd walked her back to her room. He'd still been holding her hand. When he'd left, she'd laid down on the bed and sighed in content.

Now, however, she was laying on her bed stressing out over what in the world she was supposed to do. What did this mean for the two of them? Was she supposed to just face Jaehyun again and pretend as if nothing had ever happened?

Even worse, what was she supposed to tell her friends? Her family? Taeyong? Even though she and Taeyong weren't in love, it still felt completely wrong to have feelings for another man. Then again, Taeyong was seeing Jennie as well. Was it really that big of a deal?

Rosé exhaled deeply. She had to get herself together and figure things out before she lost control.

Unfortunately for Rosé, a knock at her bedroom door disturbed her momentary state of peace. Sighing heavily, she got up from her comforter and trudged over to the door, opening it slowly.

She came face to face with Jennie, who looked her up and down skeptically before saying, "You look like a mess."

"Thanks for stating the obvious." Rosé grumbled, heading back over to her comforter and flopping down rather ungracefully.

"Why are you still in your room?" Jennie questioned her sternly. "You should be more productive with your time, you know?"

"Because I'm not ready to face the complications of the world right now, Jennie." Rosé said, her muffled voice barely audible through the white sheets.

"Did something happen?" Jennie asked concernedly, seating herself next to Rosé on the bed.

This was something Rosé loved about Jennie; she could change her attitude from audacious to attentive in less than a second, which in this case, was exactly what Rosé needed.

"I need help." Rosé whined as she turned over, pressing her back against the sheets and slowly sliding down the side of the bed.
