Baby of the Band (The Second Part)

Cool like you all

Prompt - hey can you do one where there at a waterpark and Nathan like can't swim but they don't know that so when he goes down a slide he starts drowning and freaking out and maybe a lifeguard has to save him or something and then like because of his asthma an ambulance comes and like everyone's looking at them and everything and like a fluffy ending because fluffy ending are adorable lol

Nathan never told the boys that he doesn't know how to swim. It felt embarrassing to tell someone that you don't know something. Nathan always looked up to the boys. He wanted to be like them. Most importantly, he wanted to be as cool as them. And you can't show them that you do not even know how to swim. It was so uncool not to know swimming and Nathan wanted to be cool just like his big brothers. Hence, Nathan decided, he wouldn't tell them that he doesn't know swimming, without even thinking about consequences.

When the boys made the plan to go to waterpark, Nathan had been the one who seemed the least excited. The boys had thought that Nathan would love this idea. After so many tiring days, they had finally gotten a few days of break. The boys thought that maybe Nathan was just tired and would cheer up once he'd be at the waterpark. And Nathan's mood did perk up once they reached the waterpark. He looked much happier but for some reason was just avoiding the water. But once they decided to go down the slide, the boy did pale a little but neither did he refuse nor did he say anything.

The boys had no idea that Nathan couldn't swim. They let him go down the slide first and that's when trouble started. Nathan knew he should have just said something about not knowing how to swim but instead he went down the slide first and not only did he start panicking, it also triggered an asthma attack. Once he got down the slide and into the pool, he even started drowning. Thankfully, a lifeguard jumped right in to save him while the boys rushed to their youngest bandmate, swimming to him and getting out of the water, to get by his side.

"What happened to him?" Siva asked. "He was drowning" the lifeguard informed them. "Drowning? Nathan doesn't know how to swim?" Jay asked. "Not the time to wonder about this. He is having an asthma attack" Tom said. He sat next to the boy turning him over his side to help him breathe. "We've called for an ambulance" the lifeguard informed them. "Breathe Nath" Max coached the boy. Once the ambulance arrived, the boy was quickly given medical help. "I'm sorry" Nathan mumbled through his oxygen mask. "Just focus on breathing" Tom said.

In the end, Nathan didn't have go to the hospital. He was told to rest and the boys decided to cut short their trip and return home. Once they got home, Siva and Jay had Nathan bundled up in bed. And just when they were about to leave the room, they heard Nathan's cries. "Hey, what's wrong?" Siva asked. "Mad at me?" Nathan asked. "Shouldn't we be mad at you?" Tom asked from the doorway. "You could have told us that you don't know how to swim but instead you decided to hide this from us" Max said. "I'm sorry" Nathan mumbled. "You could have lost your life you idiot" Jay scolded. But Nathan's tears had them melting.

Tom was the first one to break as he pulled Nathan in a hug. "Buddy, there is nothing wrong in not knowing swimming. We'll teach you swimming but you should have told us" Tom explained. "Punishment?" Nathan himself asked, feeling a burden on his heart. Max sighed as he pulled Nathan over his lap.

SWAT SWAT SWAT SWAT SWAT

Max ended the spanking as he pulled the boy in a hug. "Enough?" Nathan asked, still crying. "Do you want more?" Max asked. Nathan shook his head. "We figured you had enough with the events that just occurred" Tom explained. "Buddy, next time just tell us, okay?" Siva said. "Just wanted to be cool like you all" Nathan whispered. "Oh buddy! You don't have to be cool like us" Tom chuckled. "You just be you" Jay said as they all pulled the boy in a group hug.

In his quest to be as cool as his big brothers, Nathan had had one hell of an adventure.
