Anti and Dark were gently thrown around in the back of the truck as it made some sharp turns. They held each other close, as both of them were scared out of their minds at what was going to happen to them.Once the truck got to wherever they were going, the men opened the back doors, grabbed Anti out, and closed and locked them. Dark shook the door, trying to get out.
Meanwhile, the men were pulling Anti into the building, holding his hands behind his back. They forced him into a small cell in a circular room, shutting the bar door and locking it tight.
They did the same with Dark, putting him in a cell to the left of Anti's. Anti raced over and tried to get close to Dark.
Dark's POV
Anti tried to reach out to hold my hand, but the concrete wall between us was too big, and we couldn't reach each other. He was sobbing, begging me to say that everything was okay.
I said it again and again, repeating it constantly. Suddenly, a guard walked in, and Anti and I jumped backwards.
"Do either of you know why you're here?" The man said. We both shook our heads. "You're demons. Demons are terrible, unwanted creatures that don't deserve any piece of life that they have. They hurt people, and we can't have that happening."
"But, we haven't done anyth-" "SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH! It doesn't matter what you haven't done, it matters what you will do. Look around you, not all these demons have done something, but it's the risk of what they can and will do."
I glanced around the room, just now noticing all the cells that were filled with large groups of demons. Some cried, some laughed, some were angry. I noticed Anti's hand dart up to cover his mouth, as his crying got worse.
"Now stop arguing. You're staying here, but we'll be taking some in tomorrow for execution. Pray if you wanna live, faggots." The man spoke harshly and walked out. "D-Dark, we could die tomorrow!" Anti said. "Shh, I know you're scared, but I won't let anything happen to you. I promise." He nodded and looked around at the other cells.
He was looking down, but then shot his head up. "But what about you?" "I'll be just as fine. I absolutely promise, nothing will happen." He smiled at me and said, "I hope."
That night, Anti took the single pillow on the hard bed and brought it to the corner of his cell so he could be as close to me as possible. He laid on his stomach and I sat with my back against the wall as we held hands while he drifted to sleep.
I didn't want to sleep, I knew I couldn't. This place was cold, dark, and never quiet. The only reason Anti could sleep comfortable, he told me, was because of my warm hand wrapped around his.
