Dark's POV

I held Anti's limp body as close as possible, begging in my mind for us to live. I stayed in that ditch for at least four hours before a group of paramedics discovered me buried below loads of dust.

They pulled me out, Anti still in my arms. I looked down at him, shaking him and saying, "Anti... Anti, wake up... Anti, please..." Two men took him and brought him to an ambulance as two others handed me a heavy blanket and a gas mask, which scared the crap out of me.

How was I alive? I don't know. I honestly thought I was completely dead, I honestly thought I would've died quickly. But I guess fate had different plans for me. Anyways, I called my old friend, Craze (Demon Version of Ethan AKA Crankgameplays).

"Hey, is everything okay? I heard about the nuke striking nearby." Craze spoke sweetly. "E-Everything is... I don't know. Just please, I need you to come pick me up, and I-I'll explain everything that's happened..." "Okay."

I told him my location, and waited. Craze lived about fourth-five minutes away, so I was going to have to be patient. After what seemed like forever, a car finally pulled up and Craze got out. He ran up to me and we hugged. "Where's Anti?"

Craze and I walked and got into his car, and I looked over at him. "He's... hurt. I don't know how else to put it, he passed out before the bomb hit, then I was forced to hide in a ditch for four hours for safety. I can't believe I'm alive, but I'm worried about Anti..." I said, feeling tears stinging at the edges of my eyes.

Craze nodded, turning on the car and driving off. We eventually got to his 'house,' which was more like a shed with a basement. "That was a stupid move of the army, to put us all outside in the open." I said once we walked inside, breaking the awkward silence. "Yeah, its like they wanted you to die."

We both giggled. Craze had known me for as long as I can remember, he knows how to make me feel better. "When the paramedics gave me the blanket and gas mask, they also gave me a slip with a phone number on it. I'm guessing that's the hospital's number, should I call and ask about Anti?"

"Yeah. He probably needs you right now." I nodded as Craze gave me his phone to call with. I punched the number in on the keypad, holding the phone up to my ear and waiting for an answer.

"Demon State Hospital, How may I help you?" A female voice spoke. "Hi, My name is Dark Iplier and I'm calling to check on a, um... friend of mine who was hospitalized during the nuclear bomb strike. His name is Anti SepticEye, and if I could also get his room number then that would be great."

"Alright, let me look... Yep! Mr. SepticEye is in here, he's in room 265. I haven't gotten anything on his condition, so I'm going to put you on hold so I can ask, I'll take you off and tell you once I get an answer." "Okay, thank you so much." I said, writing down the room number.

After about eight minutes, the phone went off hold. "Um, Mr. Iplier, I'm afraid I have some bad news. Your friend is stable, but... the doctors aren't thinking that he's going to survive, he's caught some rare and deadly disease somehow. I am truly sorry." "Th-Thank you..." I said, hanging up the phone and running, Craze following behind me.
