Chapter 16: Issues

"I have an idea..."

Everyone looked at me and Pidge gave a cheeky grin.

I stood up to the best of my ability as well as Pidge.

"I'd love to let you guys go to wherever the heck your exploring, but I need YN, which means I'll take Shiro as well," Coran said.

"Okay...?" I asked.

Me and Shiro got up and headed to the infirmary. Shiro helped me up on a table, with the best of his ability.

"I need to do a blood test. It'll only be a little bit. What were you guys going to do in the lounge?" Coran asked.

"Riff off. It's all acapella. At least we were gonna try that," I mumbled that last part.

As soon as I said that, my head started pounding.

"Ah, dang it," I whispered.

There was a needle in my free human arm, and my cybernetic one is kinda chained to the black paladin.

"YN, what's wrong?" Shiro asked, worried for his girlfriend.

"Headache. Like, killer headache."

"Any memories or anything really flashing in front of your eyes?" Coran asked.

"Vividly," I said while bring my cybernetic hand to my head.

"YN is getting her memories back from when she was taken from the Galra," Coran said while taking the needle out of my arm.

He went over to some Altean tech that was analysing my blood.

"Great. So how long until this goes away?" I asked, bring my now free hand to my head.

"Should only last for a few days- What? But that's impossible," Coran said.

"What?" I asked, getting off the table.

"No no no. This can't be happening," Coran said while unchaining us. "Shiro, here's the key, unlock everyone from their teammate. And bring Keith here."

Shiro ran out the room to go do that, while I was left in confusion.

"Coran, what's going on?"

He turned to me, with some fear in his eyes.

"You're part Galra," he said quietly.

"What?" I whispered.

Everyone came bursting through the doors.

Only bring Keith. Brings whole team. Great.

"Coran, what's going on?" Allura asked.

I started pacing around the room, thoughts flying everywhere.

I am part Galra. I'm part Galra. I'm part Galra!! Wait, why did Coran need Keith? Are we related? Is he part Galra too? Oh man, I'm part of the race that is taking over the universe. Part of the race that have hurt this team so much. Part of the race that we're trying to destroyed. Part of the race that-

"YN is part Galra?!" Lance exclaimed.

Coran nodded his head. "Keith, I need to do a blood test on you. Okay?"

He nodded his head as I brought my hands to my forehead again, trying to calm down headache.

"Keith and YN have a 66% of a blood match. They're siblings," Coran told us.

"I HAVE A BROTHER?!" I shouted.

Coran nodded his head as I stared at Keith in confusion.

"Great, so I go my whole life not knowing that I have a brother?"
