As children we thought that we would live forever.
I thought we would grow old together.
Why did you decide you had to leave?
My heart was broken and left me in disbelieve.
You were the only person that I could ever remember
That never thought that I was just a number.
Why did you ever have to leave?
Didn't you think about our grieve?
Best friends forever...
But after school we had a new endeavor.
I wish I was there to make you stay.
Everyone said they never saw you wilt away.
Did you think death was the only way?
I remember a merry heart who cheered me up all day.
The one who believed I could be a poet one day.
I wish I knew why you wanted to go away...
