I wish I could bribe you with my love poems -

I'll write you one everyday if you wish.

I'll pour all my affection for you

In that cheap five rupee pen I always borrow from you,

And the ink flowing from it will

Burn the papers,

Scarring them with my love.

I'll weave you the most beautiful jewelries

With the small stock of ornamental words

I have stored just for you.

And oh, love,

That book you were so wistfully reading the other day,

I can make it all materialize around you

(And maybe we can roam those magical meadows together?)

I can make the colours rain

Or the stars sing just for you.

Oh love, I can even take you to Narnia and back
