you were my life

my best friend

my lover

my wife

and though someone else

now shares my space

a companion, yes

but you

she will never replace

you were my first

and only love

and though you are gone

i put no one, above

You

i hold you dear

within my heart

the memories

will never part

until the day

eventually

we are reunited

eternally
