She swung her legs over the side and rubbed her hands against the cold hard concrete.
Voight was driving to go over to Erin's to visit but saw someone sitting on the bridge from afar. As he approached, he discovered that it was Erin. He stopped his car and got out.
"Erin, what are you doing?"
"I'm going to go be with Jay," She quietly stated.
"What about your kids? You can't do this to them, Erin. Don't do this," Voight tried convincing her.
"I don't know what to do, Hank. I've tried to live and to love. It never works out for me. They'll be better off if I'm gone."
"They'll miss you. I'll miss you. Don't do this."
"Go now or you'll have to watch, Hank. I don't want to do this in front of you," Erin breathed out.
"Erin come with me, let me take you somewhere first. If you still want to do this after you see what I'm going to show you, then I'll drive you back, but please do this for me first."
"What is it?" Erin swung her legs back over and placed her feet on the road.
"You'll have to come to see, but I can't talk about it out loud, please, join me?"
"Fine, let's go," Erin agreed.
"I have to make a call first, but It'll be quick."
"Okay."
Voight dialed a number and let it ring.
"Why are you calling?"
"Erin has to know," Voight stated.
"She can't, not yet."
"I have to tell her," Voight continued.
"No, you can't. Why?"
"She is going to kill herself. She can't surpass this grief," Voight stated, worriedly.
"You know we can't tell anyone."
"I have to, there's no point in any of this if she dies," Voight stated.
"You're right, but if she knows, then there's no point."
"What do I do?"
"Take her home and play with the kids and her. She won't be able to leave them then."
"Are you sure?"
"I have to be."
"Okay, I'll call back in a few days," Voight ended the call and deleted the call from his call log. He got back in the car.
"Who was that?"
"Olive."
"Why'd you call her?"
"Well, we were on a call earlier before I saw you," Voight lied.
