The second you entered your apartment and set your beach bags by the door, you realized how astoundingly stupid you were truly were.

You had forgotten sunscreen, but due to the slight breeze that had been blowing during your beach day, you didn't think you had needed the protection. But, boy, were you totally wrong.

Your entire face was bright red, along with your shoulders, stomach, back, and both legs. It felt as if there were tiny prickles of needles shooting throughout your skin, and you could barely move to your bedroom. When you made it there, you carefully sat on the bed and plopped onto your back with a hefty sigh.

You fumbled with your phone, quickly going to your recent phone call with Ryan this morning. You clicked it and your phone began murmuring in response. He picked up after three rings, a hearty hello sent from his end.

"Ryan," you frowned, stretching his name out as if it were rubber on the lips. "I'm in so much pain!"

"Well," he chuckled, "I was going to ask how your beach day was, but that answers my question. You want me to bring you some aloe vera?"

You nodded vigorously, muttering, "Yeah."

"I'll be there in half-an-hour," he responded. "See ya in a bit."

"I love you so much, you're an awesome friend," you sputtered out before he could hang up. With another laugh, the phone call ended.

You shut your eyes and fell asleep for a few minutes until Ryan softly creaked open your bedroom door. "You're lucky you called me between shows." He offered a hand and pulled you off the bed.

"I know," you gave him a short hug before guiding the two of you to the large bathroom.

"Where are you all burnt at?" Ryan trailed his eyes from your head to your toes, attempting not to laugh at the appearance.

"Back, legs, face, stomach, shoulders. The usual," you shrugged, carefully sliding out of your bathing suit cover up. "I can't exactly move very well, so could you possibly apply the aloe, too?"

"Take off your clothes," Ryan rolled his eyes playfully, turning away as you stripped. You slid into undergarments before allowing Ryan to open up the bottle of aloe.

He spun you around and began to rub the cool oils into your back. Ryan massages up into your shoulders and the back of your legs. He circled around you, getting your calves and knees, your upper thighs and face. Ryan blushed somewhat upon rubbing the aloe over your chest, causing you to smile.

"You're not so gay after all," you teased, watching as he turned away to wash his hands off.

He snorted, not allowing you to make eye contact with him in the mirror. You mischievously smiled to yourself and sighed. When Ryan turned around from the sink, you pushed him against the counter.

"Do you find me attractive?" His eyes widened at your words. He didn't speak, nor did he shake his head. Ryan hesitantly gave a curt nod.

You thought for a moment before intertwining his hands with yours. "Do you like me?"

"P-possibly," he gulped.

With all the answers you needed, you pressed your lips on his. You curled your fingers around his hips, ignoring the pain shooting through your scrunched cheeks. Ryan's hands went to your waist, but you hissed in pain, causing the two of you to tear apart.

"Ouch," you muttered, examining the bright white fingerprints shadowed into your skin. The both you doubled over in laughter, somehow ending up back on each other's lips.
