andrew keenan bolger was on the fifth episode of his broadway.com series. it was focused on the backstage shenanigans of the cast of tuck everlasting in its short eight weeks on broadway. on this specific episode, he was speaking with the cast and crew on the most valuable item they kept with them in each show they travel to.

halfway through the vlog, he was speaking with ben tyler cook, your boyfriend and the main reason you watched the vlogs. (to admit it, you now watched them for 'akb' and his boyfriend, scott, because they were the cutest darn thing to ever grace this earth).

you grinned widely as he came into frame, stretching on the ground with one of those weird yoga devices he had a ton of at your shared apartment.

andrew asked him, "so, ben cook, tell the folks at home what your most valued possession is."

ben moved from where he was on the ground and walked on his knees towards his vanity. all the while, he spoke, "this is going to sound silly to a lot of people, but my girlfriend and i write love letters to each other."

a blush crept up on your cheeks and you but down on your lip.

andrew awed in the background, replying with, "that is so sweet! what're they about?"

he fumbled with stuff on his vanity, blushing rapidly and grinning, too. "just random little notes. she was the one who first started them. she just made a post it note on the fridge before she left for work saying that i had to set out chicken for dinner to thaw. and she had a smiley face and heart at the end."

you remembered making that note and were hit by a wave of euphoria when ben pulled the note out of a small notebook in his hands.

"this is it?" andrew reached out and took it from him.

"yeah." ben scratched his head. "then i made on for her and left it under the meat because i was running an errand when she came home from work. and the next morning she left a longer note, and i two-pages' worth. and it's just kept up between us. we never see the other writing it, but they always just show up. and i keep all of them in here."

he opened the notebook and flipped through a couple pages as andrew speedily read a few fragments. you were still grinning, watching ben in full focus as his eyes lit up from each note.
