You were playing the lead role of Donna Sheridan in the second installment of the Mamma Mia movie series on the big screen. Rehearsals had been going on for nearly two months now, but today was an invited rehearsal in which certain Broadway show casts were allowed to come and watch some song be ran through.

You were incredibly nervous considering the fact that one of the actors on the list was Corey Cott. You had seen him in Newsies years ago, and obsessed over Bandstand when you found out he was in it. You'd seen it on Broadway three times.

He was by-far you're biggest celebrity crush. And he was going to be watching you perform!

You dressed especially well today, in your jazz heels (?), your nicest pair of black leggings, a white body suit, and a black hoodie that you would eventually take off.

You sat idly off to the side with the other flashback characters as they ran through the present character songs. You couldn't exactly find him in the crowd, but when Jessica pointed him out, your heart nearly dropped.

Your song was up next.

You met eyes with him as you stood up to retrieve your prop- a microphone- and position yourself in a seat at one of the tables.

You took a deep breath as the song was counted off and you waited for your cue to sing.

"I was cheated by you and I think you know when," you closed your eyes to give the effect that you had been heartbroken, and walked slowly towards the stage.

"There's a fire within my soul!" You crouched down and slowly stood back up, as the beat picked up.

The choreography picked up from here as the audience clapped at the iconic song. You grinned as you met eyes with Corey, who was smiling and watching you intently.

As the song ended, you felt your chest heave with air.

At the very end of the performance, you took a bow with your cast mates. Then, the audience was released to the floor to speak with you and the cast.

You grabbed a water bottle from your bag, nervous to approach Corey but longing to so badly. You, however, didn't have to as a shadow fell over you while you stood up.

You intervened your shaking fingers as you faced Corey Cott, the legend himself.

"Hey!" He stuck out a hand and you splutteringly took it into your own. He shook it firmly, grinning down at you. "You were amazing out there."

"Oh- wow, thank you so much!" You smiled lightly, blushing a little bit.

"No problem," Corey stepped back to allow you room to move around. He waited for you speak, secretly admiring your beauty.

You tried to think of something to say, but all that sputtered out was- "Will you sign my PlayBills?"

Corey looked taken aback, but he laughed loudly. His laugh was gorgeous, as you expected.

"Sure!" He nodded, sticking his hands in his pockets.

"I'm sorry if that was rude I just- um, I'm just very, very nervous. You're like, like my idol and I love you so much. I adore your work and you're my inspiration and- I'll get the PlayBills."

You rushed back to your bag and carefully pulled out the Newsies and Bandstand PlayBills. You handed them to Corey along with a Sharpie.

He signed each of them and added an extra note onto the Bandstand one. You talked to him for a moment more before he had to leave.

He hugged you goodbye, which made you sweat even more, and you were alone to look at the signatures.

Beside his name was his number.

You practically passed out.
