"He doesn't want to see her locked up Q. He does have that right. Yeah, he's her only child but neither of us should force him to do something he isn't comfortable with."
I understood what O was saying. However, I didn't want his mom to think we'd pit him against her or something.
"Besides, you have full custody of Naseem. Mia can't do anything and, it should be his right if he wants to see his mom or not."
"I'll drop it. We're supposed to be on a family vacation and I'm ruining it with family issues." I replied, rubbing my face.
"You are fine. I know you want to do the right thing as a parent babe." Kissing my cheek, she stretched out beside me. Rolling over on top of her, I took in her scent. O always smelled good. Even after a long day at her shop, she always managed to smell like vanilla, lavender, and a hint of peppermint.
We decided to take the kids to Kings Island and of course the grandmothers wanted to tag along. O being a kid at heart, wanted to stay at Great Wolf Lodge. The kids and our mom decided to go explore while we stated in the room to relax.
"Babe, you know we said we were going to leave the drama home and all but, my dad is foul as fuck. Like, nobody in my family wants me happy except my mom. I don't understand what the hell I could have done so bad in life" she mumbled. Twisting my ear slightly.
"It's never been you baby. Ya pops is running from his own closet of demons. Instead of facing them head on, he would rather see you and ya mom miserable with life. Which makes him a fucked-up individual. I told you before, his actions don't determine if I want to be with you. So, fuck him O"
She let out a sigh and my eyes fluttered a few times. A nigga was bald as they came in the hair department but it was something about O's touch that made me sleepy.
"Babe, I'm trying to be all deep and romantic but I'm about to fall asleep on your ass"
She let out a small chuckle and continued rubbing.
"Qasim, I want two more kids. Another boy and a little girl. What about you?"
"Gender doesn't matter. If you are the mother then I'm cool with it" I whispered, feeling my eyes getting heavier.
Soon as I felt myself drifting off the door busted open with my two loving children screaming. O removed her hand, and I lifted my head.
"Fidget and Midget" I spoke, acknowledging the two. Trinity groaned, rolling her eyes.
"Don't let your eyes write a check that your ass ain't ready to cash" my mom stated, giving Trinity a stern look.
"Sorry daddy but, I'm taller than Seem. I'm not a fidget or midget." She retorted, folding her arms.
"You're my midget though, and I don't care how tall you get"
"Dad, granny took us to play at the arcade. I beat Trin at two games. Air Hockey and granny helped me with the kee balls. So, she beat Trin on that one." Naseem gloated, smirking at Trin.
The two of them loved one another to the end, but their competitive nature was at an all-time high. More so on Naseem's side. He was protective of Trin at all cost. However, when it came to games, sports, or something he could feel he was better at he was all in. Trin could care less about winning anything. Baby girl was happy with having a brother that was only older by three days.
"Whatever Nana! Ma, Dad, we want you to go to the water park with us. Please"
"Yeah dad, they have this big slide that we want Mama O to get on with us." Naseem sang, already knowing O was going to reject.
