Everyone's emotional. Maddy took my left hand in hers after putting her head on my shoulder. Dan's looking at his feet absent minded and Ash is staring at me as if he wanted to say something.

"And you... still see it as a failure? Why?" Maddy straightens to say something, but it's my fight.

"Yeah. Who wouldn't?"

"Anyone who sees how strong you need to be to avoid these harmful... actions and start over."

"Is it why you are affected that much by the waiting list and the video?" Dan left his world for ours.

"I guess..."

"Mili, come on! You have nothing to worry about."

"If it is true, tell me why I might not get in..."

"Screw that! Don't you see the bright side sometimes? The only reason why you left health science is that you stopped believing in yourself and only saw what you couldn't do. You took another path that makes you see the greatest in you. You could have succeeded too. You just wouldn't have been as happy as you are when your back home talking about brains and emotions..." She breaths slowly relieved. "Finally said... I needed to say it for once and for all."

"I agree. You belong in psychology." Maddy hugs me sideways and Dan follows her lead. Ash gets closer too.

"Group hug?" They all laugh and hug me. It feels great to be loved...

A phone call interrupted our little moment. Thea wants me to meet her at her office. Oliver is on his way already. I don't need to bring anything or dress formally. She just wants to see me.

"You have to leave again?"

"And see Oliver again..."

"I thought that she would wait until tomorrow..." Ash hugs me, then yawns. "I'm off to a movie, see you later MG." He says teasingly. "Mads are you down?" Maddy hesitates.

"Yeah... but... I need to know everything okay?"

"I will, Mads, don't worry," I say while I'm hugging her.

"I saw you earlier. I need to know what happened. I'll come for you if don't tell me." She whispers laughing in my arms. "I'm serious! If you don't, you won't be alive for long..." She smirks at me and leaves the room with Ash.

"Do you really have to leave again?" Is Dan insisting on me leaving now?

"Yeah... it might be important." A sad look appears in his dark blue oceans.

"But... you just came back and..." He gets closer. "I missed having you around and I want to hang out or something, you know. Like we did in Quebec..." Is he really saying that he wants me to stay for him?

"I'm sorry. Duty calls... You would've done the same anyway." I winked at him before hugging him. For the first time, he's hugging me super tight and keeps me in his arms. He takes my hands.

"I... I was scared earlier. You... do know how to scare me off. Don't ever do that again. Can you promise me that?" I don't know if I can... "At least tell me that you'll come to me if you need to use your fists again. I'll go with you."

"I'll try." He frees me tearing.

"Thanks..." As I wipe his tears, he takes my hand and smile sadly.

He followed me in the driveway to wait for Ollie. I felt like he wanted to say something all along, but he didn't. Instead, he just hugged me one last before I leave.
