I had a weird dream... You know, the one where you meet people and it looks so... natural. Maude was with me too. I was calling her Maddy because I was always speaking English. Isn't it insane? We were in California and we met YouTube celebrities. I even became someone... If only it wasn't a dream... How couldn't it be? I woke up and it's dark. I must have been dreaming.
--Maddy's POV--
"What if I'm losing her again?""Mads, you won't. I'm telling you."
"What if you're wrong, Ash?! What if she dies like everyone else that night?!"
Dan left the corridor to her room again. If only she could wake up for once and for all...
--Ashton's POV--
Poor Daniel... My bro's in pain since that night. I can see it in his eyes. He'll never tell me, but... I know that she would have noticed too and he would have talked to her about it. Ever since it happened, I feel like he lost hope, joy and faith in everything, but her recovery. He's always thinking about it, thinking about her. Maddy's broken to pieces. She insists to replace him when he accepts that he has to eat, drink, shower... She wants to see her too. She misses her a lot. They are both so broken that I can't be broken myself in front of them, but I am too... She's lit up his world and she trusted me like she trusts her best friend! No one I know has ever done that in so short notice. I've known her for not even two weeks and I feel like I fell in love with my best friend's girlfriend's sister. They didn't have time to make it official, but I feel like, deep down inside, it is to him. Amy is... a phenomenon. She made me see her best friend differently and... I feel like I could slowly believe in love again. Maria shook me down and made me suffer enough to be sceptic, but with these two... nothing can stop us. Dan and Maddy look like family. We all look like family. And my sister's in a coma and I can't do anything but wait and take care of everyone else...--Daniel's POV--
I can't believe that it's been a month already. I waited, I'm waiting and I'll still wait until she wakes up. It seems to me that it's been only a few days. I'm watching her every night. I need to. In case her heart stops carrying on again... That day, I was there. I fell asleep on her leg and it just... happened. It woke me up in panic because her vitals were shutting down quickly. I called for help and it saved her, but I still feel like it was too late and that I should've done something to avoid it. That night, I almost lost her for the third time and... it was as hard as the night of the accident... well, even harder. That night, I was with her. I saw her suffering and I couldn't do a single thing to help. I just left the room like I was told to and called Maddy in tears...--Back to Amy's POV--
I don't know what's happening, but it's definitely not a dream. I feel a hand... with a certain weight like the weight of a head... on my left wrist. The hand's holding it and asking for a sign. Anything. I can hear the person's voice. I can smell the chemicals or food smells passing by. If I'm awake, why can't I move? Why can't I open my eyes?!I did it! I opened them! I opened them, but I can't see anything. Everything's dark! Everything. What happened to me? Where am I? Who's next to me?!
"I don't know if you can hear me, but if you do, please help me believing in a future where I can be with you again..."
If only I could... hold your hand... I... can't speak yet. Nothing's getting out of my throat. I'm not sure I know who you are, yet, though.
"Please, Amy... I've been watching you day and night. You're so much stronger than you think you are. Just try, please... Try for me."
