--Dan's POV--
I can't beleive that she fled again. Once again. It's almost like she can't get to the point when you finally accept that you need help. It takes so much strength and energy to fight against the right guys that fighting against the real demon becomes impossible. Why, Kate, why?! Amy, Maddy and Lucy were in front of me, but Amy stopped following them. She knew that that call wasn't good news. She just knew. Guided by Phoenix, she slowed down and came beside me. Dear lover, how can I do this without you, now? Kate's back in rehab with more fury and darkness than before she first entered. It's almost like it's getting darker every time she flees. Holding Amy's hand really tight, I'm trying to tell myself that it'll be fine, but I can't stop feeling like it won't and it makes me feel helpless since all I've done is placing her in rehab and watching her fade away.

"I'm calling a cab." Says Amy.

"What?"

"I'm calling us a cab, Dan." Her hand is in her pocket trying to find her phone. With a little help, she gets to it and uses Bixby a voice assistant on Androids phones.

"We already called one, Aim." Says Lucy before putting her hand on her shoulder after she stopped walking.

"Thanks, Luce, but I have to help saving someone before going back DnA's house."

"Kate isn't getting any better, right?"

"Right..."

"You always have that guilt in your voice when it's about her, man. We're going to let you two alone for a while. Take the time you need, we'll be at home or somewhere in L.A. for the next few days showing Lucy around."

"I haven't been one of the best guides these last few days... Are you sure it's going to be fine with Maddy and Ash, Luce?" Asks Amy worried.

"Yep. They're good friends of yours and I trust them enough to be my guides for the time you'll be gone."

After a big hug, Lucy lets Amy go with a little smile. She's proud of her. Proud of what she's become ever since it happened. These two are going to make a great pair in England.

"Oh, Aim?"

"Yes, Luce?" She says turning kindly to her British best friend.

"I'll help you getting through this. You know, when you'll be in England. You won't be alone. Just tell him what your heart wants to say out loud." About what? The... the baby?

"I will, thanks for being so supportive since you're in America."

Two cultures are united in Amy. Three even. The French Canadian, the American and the British... She's all three when she's so connected to all of us. It's always great to get to discover a little more of her every day as if she always has something to share. But what are they talking about?

"What have I missed?" Her silence is obviously hiding something. "I mean, what were you talking about?"

"You really don't have any idea of what it's about?" Her voice is shaking a little.

"Yes, I do." I say holding her hand tighter.

Her silence makes me believe that she's considering if whether or not she should engage in the conversation or let it go. Her hand's tightening mine tighter and her breathing seems troubled and uneven. It's clear that she'd rather forget about everything and wait for the cab.

"You're still considering the deal they're offering you, aren't you?"

"Don't say it like that... it makes it sound so... inhuman."
