Chapter 1
Finally the last day of high school! It'll be the last time I ever have to face those jerks, and those kind of people who are so vein and narcissistic. I finished curling my golden locks with this machine that sucks in your hair then it comes out curled. I already had dark brown mascara and brown eye liner on. With a thin layer of foundation. My eyebrows were the slightest darkened.
My reason for make-up is to look natural, and not to exotic. I had a lovely flowing knee-high dress, from the top it was dark purple but as the color went downwards the color faded into a light blue. This dress is sure one of a kind. I slipped on black flats, grabbed my black leather book bag.
Jogged down the stairs and headed out the door. I pulled the keys out of my book bag in the lower pocket. Pressed the button on the car keys, soon after heard a beeping sound from the car. Notifying that it was unlocked. I open the door, letting my leather book bag fall from my shoulder and tossed it into the passenger seat. I sat down in my Kia soul base black car, twisted the keys into the key hole and the engine roared.
I backed out of the driveway, and drove down the street. I stopped by Dunkin Donuts to pick up a cup full of iced coffee the flavor of french vanilla. I took a few sips from the straw before heading back on the road. After a few minutes I arrived at Greenstone High school. I had parked in the far corner of the parking lot.
The reason why is simple, I don't want the rest of the kids to park near me. Theres over a hundred parking spaces for these people. And as usual these kids are lazy so there fight over the closest parking space to the school.
Right when I had arrived at the school doors, someone had blocked me from reaching the door. I looked up and there was a jerk face right in front of me.
"Hey." He gave a slight smile, and as usual tried to hypnotize me with those brown eyes.
It was Cole. "What do you want?" I rolled my eyes at him, I hope he could take hints that I don't want to be messed around.
"To talk to you for a sec... alone."
I turned my head shaking it disapproved. "Sorry your not worth the time." I looked back up at him. He looked at me with sad eyes, but that quickly changed.
He smiled. " Your just playing, I know you wanna hang out with me." He was about to put his finger on my chin, but I pulled away.
"You must be high or something, because your not thinking clearly." I tried to get past him, but he blocked the doors.
I looked up at him. His eyebrows were creased together, his mouth was expressing a disgusted grin. "Why do you push away? Why do you think everything is a joke?"
I showed a confusing face back at him. "I don't think its a joke or push things away like you." I turned to face the doors. Lucky he moved away.
"Don't you know for the past four years I've liked you, why do you think I'm constantly trying to find a way to see you." I turned back to face him again, he still showed a creased confused face. And he really did look hurt.
"Because the people here like you are jerks, and why do you think I'm not showing the same passion towards you. Simply because I...don't ...like...you."I spoke critically at him, I know the truth hurts. But it's like a slap in the face for you to wake up from fantasy.
I turned back around and opened the door, and headed down the hall. I could sense that Cole was standing there heartbroken. But I know that he really wasn't because he's been in multiple other girls pants. I was just next on his list. See why do people have to lie, and at the end it kills us because they have hidden the truth too long.
