Chapter 29
Alfred was so close to me that our noses could touch. He had a grin on his face, and it was a sneaky one too. I could tell that any moment he was going to kiss me. By every centimeter the space between us was growing shorter. He put his hand on my waist and the other cupping my cheek.
"Oh well look what we have here lads." Alfred stopped and we both turned to look at Rhea.
She was wearing a dark green dress, the color almost looked black. Her hair hung loose and she still looked like a Disney princess. "Hey." I said to her smiling innocently.
"Hey Tatum it's nice to see you, ...huh something looks strange here. Through I just can't put my finger on it." She had her index finger on her lips looking up at the sky pretending to think really hard.
"Um Rhea-" I was about to say something before she put her hand out on me.
"I figured it out, you are getting it on with little Mr. fifty shades of grey." She was smiling trying to hold back her laugh.
I was laughing because I can't believe she just said that, I looked at Alfred and he looked blunt. "Oh come on Alfred brighten up." I playfully punched him in the shoulder and that's when he was smiling, through I think he was only smiling because he likes it when I smile.
"Well I'll leave you to lads alone through I'll keep an eye on you two cause of that bet I made." I looked at her confused of whatever she's talking about.
Alfred grabbed his cup of wine and stuffed his other hand in his pocket, he was looking calm and causal. "Wine tasting?" I looked at him.
"Nah but I bet I can try every wine here and know what it is." He pulled a grin on his face.
"Oh really?" I laughed a bit looking at him, thinking that he couldn't do that.
"Yea." He rolled his eyes. "If you don't think I can do that then test me."
"Okay." We went to go find the different wines.
...
Alfred was turned around so he couldn't see what the wines were, and each wine was poured into a little shot glass. So that he wouldn't have to much alcohol.
"Okay first one." I held it out to him.
He first waft it, then took a sip. He let the flavor rest on his tongue before drinking the rest of it. "Its a 1998 Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame, which is about a hundred and twenty." I turned to look at the guy that was the owner of the wines, he shook his head letting me know that Alfred was right.
"Okay here's the next one." I handed another small shot glass full of another wine.
He waft it again. "It has a grapefruit-peel sent." He swallowed all of it. "The sent gave it away but the taste made it for sure that it was a 2008 Didier Dagueneau Silex." The man said that he was right again.
"Here you go."
"It smells like a Spanish red." He drank the whole thing again. "It's a 2005 Bodegas Roda Crision, and it was made in Riojas Spain."
I pulled my hands back. "You know what you don't have to drink anymore cause after knowing on point at what these wines are you seem like a pro."
He smiled, tossed a couple hundreds on the table towards the man, and shook his hand saying thank you. As we walked out he said. " So what do I get?"
I looked up at him confused. "What do you mean what do you get?"
"Well I won the bet, so what do I get?" He smiled looking down at me.
