Chapter 30
I drove all night last night, speeding down the roads. I was walking through the front door of the hotel room it was nine in the morning. Clay some how heard the small click of the door and came storming towards me.
"Where the hell were you last night?" He already was particularly yelling at me.
"Out." My main word as usual.
"You need to stop with all this bull your pulling, your father told me what happened." He threw his hands in the air, as you can tell he was frustrated.
"Listen Clay I don't want to talk about this at the moment." I was about to push past him but he stood in my way.
"No you listen to me Alfred, all these years since we became partners you have turned your back on me when it comes to talking about this and I'm sick of it."
I rubbed my cheek, I'm really not in the mood for this. I was about to walk past him again but he put is hand on my chest making me stop. Okay know he's making that chip on my shoulder bother me. I finally pushed past him and walked down the hall to the room I'm staying in.
"Alfred I know that your in a bad relationship with your dad, and I for sure know that your hell in love with Tatum. You make it seem as if I don't pay attention well I do and I just want you to talk to me."
Okay, he just got me pissed off. "Clay enough, I told you I'm not in the mood!"
"Talk to me!" Clay yelled across the room.
I balled my hands into fists. "Don't ever call that shitty man my dad, and I'm not in love with that stupid girl! For hell's sake get your ass out of my face, I've been through hell for a little bit and I would love for you to stop messing with the chip on my shoulder. So leave me the fuck alone at the moment!"
Clay shook his head and turned around, and slammed the door behind me. I plopped down on my bed, feeling exhausted. As I was staring up at the white ceiling for awhile I fell asleep.
...
Someone was shaking me. "Alfred, Alfred?" It was a soft gentle voice, I immediately thought of Tatum. I wanted to hold her at the moment. "Alfred!" The sharp tone in the voice woke me up.
I opened my eyes hoping to see Tatum but instead I got Ava. "What do you want?" I sat up, moving a little bit away from her to keep my distance.
"You should go talk to Clay." She proclaimed.
I rubbed my eyes then yawned. "How long was I asleep?" I looked out the window, completely ignoring what she told me to do.
"You were asleep all day yesterday, it's almost noon." I looked at her, her hair was down, and her brown eye's were eyeing me. I felt as if she was a little too close to me.
"Okay." I rolled out of bed. I pulled off my shirt cause I was going to take a shower. Ava was still here eyeing me, I turned to look at her. "Are you going to leave or what?"
"Oh sorry." She got up and left closing the door behind her. I know I might sound rude to her but I can't stand the fact that she might still have feeling for me. She's with my best friend so I can't betray him like that. Plus I'm over her, she was nothing more than someone just to get in bed with. Through apparently she wanted more than that.
After spending about an hour in the shower I got out and got dressed. I just slipped on ripped skinny jeans and a white shirt. I wanted to go see Tatum but I had a feeling that she was trying to get everything straight through her head.
I pulled out my phone, no text messages from her. Maybe because she's busy or she's mad at me. But I can't stand not knowing how she feels. I texted something but then deleted it I'm not actually sure what to say to her.
