Chapter 37
They really are making us leave at one in the morning. I pulled on ripped bright blue jeans and a white t-shirt that had a small writing on the left part of the shirt, it was in black and in bold writing saying babe. I wore combat boots and a pale pink Movado women's bold swiss soft rose watch.
Sense I slept with my hair in a fishtail braid, my hair was wavy and I thought that it turned out beautiful. I applied mascara brown eyeliner darkened my eyebrows and applied concealer. I walked out of the room with all my clothing packed but Rhea was just sitting there on the couch with her head laying on the flat top of the couch so it looked as if she was staring up at the ceiling. I walked over to her and she was asleep. I squeezed her nose so that she'll open her mouth to be able to breath, then I closed her mouth and that's when she woke up.
"Come on let me sleep more laid." She pouted as her eyes got heavy.
"No we are heading to the air port right now so go get your bags." I put my arms on my hips.
She huffed. "Jerry already has new packed bags on it's way to the hotel that were staying at." She stood up stretching. She was wearing a black shirt with ripped acid jeans and black and white high top Nike shoes.
"Well then let's get going to the airport and grab some coffee on the way." I walked over to the door, and she followed.
...
Her and I were gulping down our coffee as we walked to the jet that Jerry had set up for the trip. I was surprised that there were camera men everywhere wanting answers to their questions that they were throwing at me. I just smiled at them as Rhea and I walked past them trying to get to our flight. When I reached to the entrance of the jet I turned and smiled at them waving bye. Simply because I didn't want to seem rude to them.
The jet was luxurious as always, I plopped down on a chair. I huffed and I had a feeling that Rhea was staring at me.
"That was good of you to smile for the camera, and smart not to answer any of the questions that they were yelling at you for."
I lifted my head and looked at her. "Well I didn't want to seem rude and I wouldn't know what to say the questions they were asking."
She sat up in her chair. "You shouldn't answer most of the questions they ask, they can change the mood of your answer and then make you seem like a bad guy."
I shook my head in understanding at what she had said. Because when Alfred and I would hang out sometimes in public the cameramen would come and ask questions but Alfred always said nothing about anything. Maybe it was just him or maybe it's the same reason as what Rhea is saying.
I plugged in my earphones and started to listen to classical music falling asleep. when I woke up I looked out the small rectangle window and saw it was dark outside. I looked over and saw that Rhea was asleep. I grabbed a laptop that I saw that was in a black case. I pulled up any information to know going to Japan. I had read so much about it last night that is still fresh in my head.
I then decided to look up anything about me or Alfred so I feel aware of any false or drama statements. I found that the public is wondering to why Alfred is heading to Japan because apparently a few of his family members had died there.
After a while Rhea woke up saying that we should be landing soon, and that the time should be around ten at night. We walked through the airport after we landed and we apparently already had a driver ready to take us to the hotel and what was a wake up call was that there were more reporters wanting answers.
The hotel was very nice, plants were everywhere small ponds and waterfalls, with kora fish. The place looked refreshing and interesting. I whispered to Rhea that this place looks too breath taking that I could live here forever.
When we reached our rooms it had calming modern colors and I was just falling for the style of this place. I went to go wash up but Rhea stopped me saying that we should go out too see the awakening of the lighting city.
We walked out and the place had light's everywhere and we were walking around taking in everything that the city was showing us. then someone came up to me asking something.
"Onsha..." (pardon) The young man smiled nervously, luckily I studied Japanese for a few years.
"Kon'nichiwa, do datte dekiru watashi tasukete kimi wa?" (Hello, how can I help you?) I smiled at the young man with brown hair and brown eyes which he was smiling very kindly.
"Dekiru watashi motteru kimi no sain? (Can I have your autograph?) My smile grew and I shook my head yes.
He pulled out a small notebook of photo's that I took, I guess that Jerry had came up with and idea of selling my work to the public. I sighed my signature then writing a nice note in Japanese to the man which his name was Aiko.
He was so pleased and said thank you then walking back his way, maybe this is why I'm getting chased by cameramen, because possibly the photos are going viral. I think I can get use to this style of life.
I tried to not worry so much about why crazy cameramen were following me. I wonder if somethings up with Alfred that they have fingers pointed at me for the cause. Soon I and Rhea arrived back at the wonderful hotel that I immediately fell in love with at first sight.
Throughout the rest of the night the thought of something wrong with Alfred was nudging at my heart.
